Recap of Episode 1057
Episode 1057 of One Piece was a high-octane adventure that started with Apoo persuading Drake to join forces with him in order to raid Onigashima. But Drake was not persuaded, and he and Apoo got into a brawl. Yamato burst into the room while they were fighting, in a hurry to get to the armoury. Yamato and Fuga then left, with Apoo trying to persuade them to join their organization. The episode then showed CPO members running after Robin, with the Minks making the ultimate sacrifice to save Robin and Brook. This was a pivotal event that highlighted the bravery and selflessness of the Minks. The magnitude of the threat presented by the World Government and its allies was also brought to light.
In this episode, Sanji’s worry about becoming a cold-hearted German warrior was at the centre of the plot. As a sign of his commitment to staying true to himself after he mistakenly attacked a geisha, he decided to destroy his Raid Suit. Even in the middle of battle, Sanji remained true to his beliefs and ideals. Zoro, on the other hand, had his plot revolve around his confrontation with King and his discussion with Sanji. Sanji called Zoro and told him they had to murder him if he become a heartless warrior while fighting the Animal Kingdom Pirates. In the meantime, Zoro told Sanji to stay alive. This sequence served to underline the characters’ close connection and mutual dedication to the crew and the goal. Sanji was getting ready to face Queen again at the end of the episode, and he ended up delivering a Hell Memories Kick.
