Review of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 220
From what we can tell, Sukuna didn’t murder anybody throughout the fight, even though he should have had 159 points by the time he took Megumi’s body and gave most of them to Kenjaku. Some of his followers speculate that he may have murdered a few people during his lightning attack with Neu, but I seriously doubt it. For this reason, I think Kenjaku may have gone to his own death because the events that follow reveal him essentially blackmailing his own invention. The Koganes, like the Culling Game’s employees, want the game to “Last Forever” or at least as long as feasible, which is something we are well aware of. Accordingly, the Kogane said no to Kenjaku’s proposed rule change—which would have barred new players from joining the Culling Game—because it would have violated Rule 7, “Affecting the long-lasting aspect of the Culling Game.” Kenjaku had been anticipating this outcome, as he is the one responsible for designing the game in this fashion. There are several obstacles Tengen spread over Japan, but four of them stand out as particularly significant. In reality, these four key obstacles serve as the basis for a single great barrier in The Culling Game. In other words, Kenjaku can end the Culling Game now that he has Tengen in his custody and smash the Four Barriers. I think Tengen’s character hasn’t changed at all, but the way her eyes appear suggests she has little to no physical agency and that Kenjaku, using his Curse Manipulation method, effectively dominates her.
Like inventing a glitch in a computer game, he uses coercion to get Kogane to agree to Rule 13: no new players may enter the Culling Game from this point forward. If Gogo were to get unsealed now or very soon in the future, he would theoretically already be in the Culling Game and not have to worry about how to enter from the outside, which is where the inference becomes a bit strange because the rear of the Prison Realm is our crew & they are in the Culling Game. This is because I believe the new rule 13 is more concerned with the fact that no new players from outside the barriers can join the Cullling Games. Obviously, we must wait and see, but I believe Gojo should be okay because it would be extremely inconvenient if, after being unsealed, he couldn’t assist her crew in fighting within the Culling Game. Before we continue on to the following phase, there is some legend regarding the Tengen’s walls that is worth discussing. According to legend, the barriers exist because, without them, modern sorcerers would have to battle the same courses they did thousands of years a while back, and the practical knowledge of the barrier approach wouldn’t even exist. They also help sorcerers use their barrier technique more effectively and reduce the frequency of curse outbreaks in Japan. It’s funny because, as Tengen said, sorcerers used to have it much easier to cast the Domain Expansion in the earlier days since it was difficult to combine a short-hit sure-kill method within their barriers. I’m not sure if this is relevant, but it definitely is, given Sure-Hit and Sure-Kill Domain Expansion is more commonplace now than it was in the past. What Tengen was trying to keep hidden from us was how, with his barriers, he made it simpler for modern sorcerers to use Jujutsu beautifully.
Because if she had broken through her own defences, she could have terminated the Culling Game immediately. The thousand years of sorcerous advancement and the competence of the barrier method may have been reset if she had said or done that to our crew, as we have indicated previously. So I guess I was simply hoping and gambling that I could beat Kenjaki, but it didn’t work out so well because Kenjaku added another rule. So, yes, that’s pretty exciting because our team now has a clear road to victory, which is obviously to take out Kenjaku and Megumi, who is now Sukuna, although that’s easier said than done. The Culling Game will also come to an end after every player has died except for Geto Suguru. With that rule in place, the stage is set for the decisive battle and ultimate outcome of Jujutsu Kaisen. However, Tengen and Kenjaku enter one of the four barriers described earlier, the Hida Holy Mountain Purification Barrier, and are confronted by the mummified Sukuna from chapter one. This seemed so genuine, I was surprised when Gege decided to revisit this design in the narrative, but I’m pleased he did. It’s hard to believe that Mangaka would intentionally set up a foreshadowing so long after the fact, but sure. Tengen tells Kenjaku that he may take the mummified Sukuna back to the actual Sukuna as a keepsake without worrying about damaging the purification barrier there. This confirms my suspicion that Tengen has been keeping certain information about our team under wraps. This is the most similar to Sukuna’s previous body, however, I do not believe Sukuna will adopt this body or shape. This is where the other five fingers are, perhaps in his hand. This is because (1) it appears to be too old for even basic manoeuvring, and (2) Sukuna has been interested in Megumi from the very beginning of the novel and has now bathed to eliminate her reluctance.

About the 221st Chapter
The opening of the most recent chapter 220 introduces us to the Prison Realm, and if you’ve read the chapter, you know what that means: Gojo is about to escape the Prison Realm. Suguru Geto, who is of course Kenjaku, scored a total of 309 points in the Culling Game, and someone in the fandom also observed that the Prison Realm had six eyes on it, which is suitable given Gojo’s six eyes. This is due to the fact that Sukuna gave him points before he left for the Sendai Colony and that Megumi started with 359 points prior to adding the substitution rule and providing 100 points to Tsumiki, who eventually added the Moving From the Colonies Rule. As a result, Kenjaku may end up keeping a significant amount of points for himself. Are you looking forward to the publication of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 221? Previous 220 was a wonderful chapter, and readers are eager to find out what will happen in the next chapter since it was a breath of fresh air after the Yoruzu vs. Sukuna battle and set the stage for future events.
