Last week’s episode Recap
At the beginning of Chapter 79, Sasuke, Shikamaru, and the rest of the Konoha sensory team were on the hunt for Kawaki. Even though Boruto was left alone with a damaged eye, Momoshiki still laughed at him since he knew he was about to lose everything. Kawaki, who had previously been able to clear his chakra while retaining Sukunahikona, was now the focus of the comic. As Eida came across him in the woods, she felt compelled to assist him. Kawaki vented his anger at Momoshiki because he intended to eliminate him to protect the village. Yet he had to sacrifice his beloved Hokage’s son to achieve that goal. Affectionately, Eida cupped Kawaki’s face in his hands, and the two of them launched into the air, sending a gigantic tremor across the Earth’s surface. Because of her omnipotence, Eida is able to make her most heartfelt wishes come true.
The “charm” she exuded was actually the materialization of her whims by the All-Powerful. Momoshiki claims that Kawaki used Eida’s omnipotence to make his wishes come true, making this an example of shinjutsu. This meant that Boruto was now Kawaki’s apprentice and vice versa. Mitsuki had come across Boruto, and having made up his mind to murder him, he had assaulted him. At this time, it became clear that Boruto was only a lonely foreigner being chased by the entire community, while Kawaki had transformed into Kawaki Uzumaki, Lord Seventh’s son. The protagonist, who had previously been Otsutsukified, was immune to the effects of Omnipotence, as were Eida and Kawaki. Kawaki then orders Eida to tell Shikamaru that Naruto was killed by Boruto, and the chapter ends on that grim note.
In Chapter 80, What Can We Expect?
There are many mysteries surrounding omnipotence, and readers may rest assured that the next chapter will reveal why Sarada felt no effects from it. We can count on the young Uchiha to carry out a well-thought-out strategy that will assist Boruto to get out of this dilemma, as Sarada is the only one to save her buddy who knows the truth. Sarada is ideally suited for this because of her decisiveness under pressure. It’s quite improbable that Naruto’s son will continue to serve as the main enemy. The conflict might take up the first half of the chapter, while Sarada’s plan to save her companion could be unveiled in the second half.
