Recap of Boruto 291
In the early moments of Boruto episode 291, Code made his debut appearance, formally presenting himself to Boruto. Code also vowed his admiration for Boruto, explaining that the latter is an Otsutsuki worshipper like himself. Nonetheless, he admitted his regret at having to sacrifice Boruto by feeding him to Ten-Tails in order to grow the Holy Tree. Boruto fought Code, who had the White Karma, despite Kawaki pleading with him to leave the area. Code, watching Boruto struggle, remarked that Boruto didn’t understand Karma and was merely using it to gain an advantage in combat. He highlighted that Otsutsuki’s combat expertise, which can transform anybody into a skilled fighter if applied appropriately, is the genuine meaning of Karma.
Code then stomped on Boruto in an attempt to agitate him and show him the full extent of Momoshiki’s strength. Despite Code’s best efforts, Boruto dodged the attack and was able to tap into Momoshiki’s resources. Blue energy emanated from him as he channelled Momoshiki’s might. Kawaki and Code were worried that Momoshiki had once again seized possession of Boruto’s psyche, but the ninja remarkably maintained his faculties. Code was then informed by Eida that Amado’s medication may have prevented Boruto from succumbing to Momoshiki’s influence. But in the meanwhile, Naruto and the Sensory Team have abandoned their search for Kawaki in favour of tracking down Boruto. As Code was also going, Shikamaru told Naruto that the two of them would go together.
Fearing that Himawari would be abandoned if they both perished, Naruto argued against Hinata’s wish to accompany him. Like Boruto and Code, Naruto entered Sage Mode to monitor their chakra. Code, on the other hand, decided to depart and take Kawaki back to Eida, but Kawaki objected and the battle resumed. Sai broke the news to Amado in another scenario, and Amado was understandably taken aback. He mumbled something about hoping that Kawaki wouldn’t make things worse for him and Amado. Boruto was unable to score a single strike on the battlefield before collapsing from tiredness and having a seizure. Code was ready to launch an attack on Boruto when time seemed to freeze and Momoshiki emerged, demanding a swap. Momoshiki took over Boruto’s consciousness and launched an attack with a gigantic Rasengan, leaving Code in disbelief.
It has been announced that the next episode of Boruto will air on March 19, 2023, at 5:30 pm JST (that’s Sunday evening). The latest episode of Boruto put viewers in a state of awe and shock. It’s been established that the next episode will maintain this level of intensity. The conflict between Kawaki and Code was eventually turned over to Boruto in episode 291 of Boruto.
