The raw scans for One Piece chapter 1078 were published on March 14, 2023, providing readers with a fascinating early glimpse at the issue. Now, the raw scans have been made public, almost confirming the previously revealed material. To top it all off, it appears that Vegapunk York is the Vegapunk double agent. Raw scans of One Piece chapter 1078 explain how she did this, perhaps by anonymously phoning Mariejois and informing them about Dr Vegapunk’s study into the Void Century. It appears she has even discussed this with the Gorosei, which may help shed light on why Saint Jaygarcia Saturn has decided to visit Egghead Isle on his own. In Chapter 1078 of One Piece, Vegapunk York’s betrayal of her fellow pirates is explained when the “Egghead Incident” is superimposed over Raw scans. Caesar Clown and Vinsmoke Judge, who would later establish “NEO MADS,” are shown holding hands on the cover of One Piece chapter 1078 raw scans, which introduces the issue. Some of the Germa 66 troops can be heard rejoicing for the reunion, while Judge’s children and Germa force leaders, Vinsmoke Reiju and Vinsmoke Icihiji, can be seen sighing. Stussy opens the issue by revealing some information to Sentomaru. Both she and him, upon hearing her remarks, appear worried. Given that he inspires the inhabitants of Egghead to start leaving in the panels that follow, it appears likely that she informed him of Kizaru’s soldiers’ impending arrival, as the entire summary spoilers predicted.
The raw scans for Chapter 1078 of One Piece then go to Franky’s crew, who find Usopp and Vegapunk Lilith still in a state of complete terror. Half of Franky’s upper body and all of his lower body is petrified, yet he is still able to communicate and move his left arm. Here, he and Vegapunk Pythagoras say something to S-Snake that apparently bothers her, and in response, S-Snake steps on Pythagoras’ skull.
When she leaves, a huge explosion occurs as a result of the attack, and the story switches back to Nico Robin and his friends. While talking about something, Robin, Tony Tony Chopper, and Vegapunk Atlas are seen speeding around the lab. It appears that something Atlas says prompts the group to reverse course, prompting yet another viewpoint shift on the subject. Nami is seen carrying Vegapunk Edison in the raw scans of One Piece chapter 1078 as her gang confronts Brook in his spectral form. Going in quest of Dr Vegapunk himself, as the entire synopsis spoilers suggested, while Sanji holds off S-Shark is probably what this is. To continue with the Sanji discussion, he is seen taking a blow from S-Shark and presumably not getting hurt. As expected, the focus returns to Luffy, Zoro, and the company in this issue.
Once the gang has finished talking about something, Zoro runs out, and Luffy orders Kaku to follow him so that he doesn’t get lost. The story’s perspective swings back to Mariejois in another flashback, and the narrator continues narrating. In one panel, Cipher Pol operatives are seen giving Dr Vegapunk a paper that suggests someone has contacted the World Government about Dr Vegapunk’s study. At one point, it appears that this unknown individual made further contact with the World Government; however, before the flashback continues, we witness Luffy and Lucci battling S-Bear. The next scene in One Piece Chapter 1078 has the Gorosei conversing with someone, while Jewelry Bonney sobs in front of physical reminders of her late father. According to earlier revelations, the traitor is Vegapunk York, who stands in for Dr Vegapunk’s greed. The issue continues with a group of Marines, led by Vice Admiral Doll and Admiral Kizaru, and includes Saint Jaygarcia Saturn of the Gorosei, on their trip to Egghead Island. After that, we get views of the Thousand Sunny, Admiral Akainu, Gear 5 Luffy, and the Gorosei member who looks like Mikhail Gorbachev. Before the last viewpoint switch in One Piece chapter 1078, we get a quick glimpse of Egghead Island.
This time, the author takes the reader to the facility housing Dr Vegapunk. As the gunman approaches Dr Vegapunk, Shaka Vegapunk appears to be either unresponsive or dead. The issue concludes with Vegapunk York apparently being exposed as the traitor as she approaches Dr Vegapunk brandishing a weapon and explaining her motivations to him.
Disclosures of recent spoilers
Fans of One Piece have been eager to learn the identity of the traitor behind Egghead Island’s mayhem for months. Spoilers for the next chapter reveal that fans, despite their best guesses, were entirely wrong about who the traitor was. The largest explosion, however, has yet to be unleashed. One Piece chapter 1078 spoilers have hinted that the global impact of the events taking place on Egghead Island would be profound. Here’s a synopsis of what occurs in chapter 1078 if you can’t wait for the complete publication. Judge and Ceaser are shown on the cover of the new chapter “Escape Time Limit” embracing one another while Nazi soldiers cheer their newfound friendship. It’s possible to make out Renju and Ichiji in the background, as well. At the beginning of this chapter, Stussy is overheard speaking with Sentoumaru, informing him of the arrival of Marine Forces on Egghead Island as a backup, first, because the Egghead Island has a defence force, and second because the World Government has begun taking extreme precautions due to Vegapunk’s extensive research that goes far beyond Ohara. People on Egghead Island begin leaving as the World Government takes drastic action.
Franky’s gang is seen, and he is immobile from the waist down since half of his body has turned to stone. Yet, he is able to communicate with others. The now-hysterical Pythagoras demands to know from S-Snake who gave her the instructions, but she keeps silent and leaps on him, setting off a massive explosion. Afterwards, we meet Robin, who fears that something terrible has happened to Stella. Robin then requests that Atlas take her and Chopper to the one deserted lab he mentions. Sanji’s crew is back at the station, and Nami is holding Edison. Brook, in his ghost form, has decided to go in search of Vegapunk. Sanji continues to let S-Shark punch him, yet he takes no damage. This, Sanji observes, is due to the potency of love. Back with Luffy and crew: the Seraphim aren’t putting out their fires, so they’re still a challenge. Luffy realises that S-Hawk has vanished and assumes that he has gone to attack the weaker members of the gang so that the focus of the stronger members is taken away from them. Thus, Zoro and Kaku decide to go with S-Hawk, while Luffy and Lucci keep fighting S-Bear. In the following panel, we meet Bonny, who has been sitting and grieving at Kuma’s recollections. When asked further, the narrator explains, “All of these things occurred the day before the infamous “Egghead Incident.” This affair, however, has roots that reach back three months.” We next see a flashback to when Holy Land Mary Geoise was contacted by an unknown party who said that Vegapunk had been investigating the Void Century. So the Global Government dispatched some CPO agents to look into it, but they never came back.
The anonymous caller called again after some time and insisted on speaking with Gorousei personally. Gorousei sent the CPO agents after Vegapunk because the unknown individual had convinced him that he was the traitor. One member of Gorousei volunteered to go personally, and the rest of the Marines from all of the Marine Bases and Kizaru would join them if Vegapunk retaliated. Then, Saturn, Kizaru, Vice Admiral Doll, and the Marines all appear as a band. The narrator continues by saying the incident’s climax will shock the globe in ways no one can foresee. By the end of the chapter, the reader learns that York is the traitor and that he is the one standing in front of Stella. She is again depicted with a smile on her face, but this time it is a sinister one. Then follows a dialogue between York, who announces her intention to become a Tenryuubito, and Stella, who asks why York would wish to transform into such a nasty human being. Shaka, York notes, would say such a thing if he were still alive. In the chapter’s finale, she states that there can be only one Vegapunk.
