On Thursday, March 9, 2023, scanlations of One Piece Chapter 1077 were made available, ushering in a number of noteworthy and perhaps game-changing events. While the Straw Hats are being eliminated one by one by the Seraphim, the more powerful factions are breaking apart in an effort to safeguard the lives of their less formidable comrades. Then in Chapter 1077 of One Piece, just as Vegapunk Shaka was about to rescue Dr Vegapunk, he is presumably slain, further delaying the Straw Hats’ departure. If more and more of Monkey D. Luffy’s crew are turned to stone and rendered helpless, this may be moot. Sentomaru’s comments in Chapter 1077 of One Piece strongly suggest that all-out war is coming to Egghead Island.
Insightful warnings and a major find in One Piece Chapter 1077
The scanlations of One Piece Chapter 1077 begin with a confirmation of the issue’s title, “You Should’ve Put It Together Sooner!” The cover features a feature article, which may be read in full. On the relevant page, contemporary versions of Caesar Clown and Vinsmoke Judge in the Germa Kingdom appear to put an end to their conflict after they realise “it’s all Vegapunk’s fault.” Reiju and Ichiji of the Vinsmoke family look on. To kick off the issue’s tale, readers are transported to Egghead Island’s Fabrio-Stratum, where Sentomaru orders the island’s civilian population to evacuate immediately. He gives them a cursory summary of the Oharan slaughter, but the reader is given a more in-depth explanation. Sentomaru says in Chapter 1077 of One Piece that the World Government’s choice to eliminate Dr Vegapunk is indicative of how seriously they take the task. He believes this means that Egghead Island will be the epicentre of something much more momentous in the near future. Then, Sentomaru raises an eyebrow towards the Lab Stratum as if to ask Luffy what’s going inside or urge him to leave quickly.
Next, we see Rob Lucci and Luffy’s points of view as they try to defeat the S-Bear Seraphim with their greatest strikes. Similarly, Roronoa Zoro and Kaku with S-Hawk have this quality. As Luffy wonders whether the Seraphim mistake them for Kaido, Zoro comments that they make him think of King from Kaido’s gang. In Chapter 1077 of One Piece, Vegapunk Shaka explains that the Seraphim’s strength comes from the usage of the King’s Lunarian blood in their creation. Zoro then cautions the group to avoid attacking the Seraphim while their backs are still ablaze. He continues by saying that Kaido’s right-hand guy was virtually unbeatable while on fire when they were fighting King. After noting that King didn’t give him many hints, Zoro goes on to describe the peculiar qualities possessed by the Seraphim. The title alludes to the yelling and criticism he receives from Luffy, Lucci, and Kaku, who all insist that he should have noticed it sooner. Then, after explaining that he thinks he knows where Dr Vegapunk is, Vegapunk Shaka leaves.
Straw Hats are under attack in Chapter 1077 of One Piece.
As the S-Hawk Seraphim attempts to attack Shaka, Zoro is there to stop him in his tracks. Then, the focus of One Piece chapter 1077 moves to Nami’s group, where she is the sole survivor and is engaged in a battle with the S-Shark Seraphim. She combines Zeus’s might with a Thunderbolt Tempo and uses it on him. But S-Shark uses his double Swim-Swim Fruit abilities and splashes noisily into the sea. This alerts Brook, who then informs Nami that S-Shark is rising from below. When it looked like Nami was finished off, Sanji swooped in and kicked S-Shark out of the way. Then, he assures Nami that he will be the one to deal with the Seraphim from now on. Back with Usopp and company, Vegapunk Lilith uses her Bubble Gun to take down the S-Snake Seraphim in Chapter 1077 of One Piece. As Lilith explains, the Seraphim are also affected negatively by their Devil Fruit strength, and the bubbles were created to tap into the ocean’s energy. For this reason, the Seraphim are easily defeated by this weapon.
Franky moves to restrain her, but as the bubble hardly touched her, S-Snake fully recovered. After that, he takes a bubble and crushes it on her, thus subduing her. And by crying out in anguish, she manages to pull at his heartstrings to the point where he lets go of the bubble long enough for her to turn him to stone using the same Love-Love Fruit abilities she used on herself. After dodging more bullets from Lilith in Chapter 1077 of One Piece, S-Snake winks at both Lilith and Usopp to try to make them think she’s cute. This paves the way for S-Snake to employ the Love-Love Fruit’s stoning abilities on them. However, the end of Vegapunk Pythagoras is not revealed here. If he manages to avoid being turned to stone, this may be setting him up as the traitor. After this, the issue has one last point of view shift, this time following Vegapunk Shaka as he visits the old Devil Fruit research lab in the basement. The Cipher Pol operatives and Dr Vegapunk are both locked up here, although it appears that they were unaware of his arrival. As Dr Vegapunk inquires as to who Shaka brought along, he immediately sets out to free everyone.
Then, for no apparent reason, an unnamed assailant shoots Shaka in the head, causing it to burst and spray blood everywhere. The assailant then seemingly makes his way downstairs. Dr Vegapunk, terrified, look towards the stairwell as One Piece Chapter 1077 comes to a close. In addition, the publication states unequivocally that the week of the break will not be skipped.
Wrapping Things Up
If you’re following the Egghead Island storyline, you won’t want to miss One Piece Chapter 1077. The apparent death of Shaka in this issue adds new layers of intrigue to the Vegapunk traitor mystery. In a similar vein, it’s quite unlikely that Dr Vegapunk will be released from prison anytime soon. Now that they know when to strike, Zoro, Luffy, Lucci, and Kaku should quickly vanquish the Seraphim, as well. They can then rescue the other search groups of Straw Hats and Vegapunks that are dispersed over the island. If none of the Vegapunks can be located, then this may provide a clue as to who the traitor is.
