Wednesday, February 22, 2023, saw the raw scan publication of One Punch Man Chapter 180, bringing with it a very funny issue. Although some readers may be becoming impatient waiting for a major confrontation between Saitama and Tatsumaki, it appears that writer ONE and artist Yusuke Murata is working towards this. Instead, the raw scans of One Punch Man chapter 180 add some comedic relief by demonstrating how the city-wide debate between Tatsumaki and Saitama has an impact on a number of heroes. This is one of the funniest chapters in recent memory, making use of the series’ much-lauded brand of classic visual joke comedy.
Saitama and Tatsumaki jet through multiple battlegrounds in rapid succession in One Punch Man Chapter 180 raw, scanning a cavalcade of humour. In the raw scans for chapter 180 of One Punch Man, we see Tatsumaki charging Saitama and utilising her immense psychic powers to knock the bald hero off balance. Meanwhile, Fubuki is gazing at the gaping hole in the roof that her sister and Saitama created. During a moment of reflection on her sister, one of her devotees approaches her with words. Fubuki then flies up out of the hole, clearly determined to go after Tatsumaki and Saitama, whether as a result of or in spite of their statements. In the next section of the issue, we follow Feather, an A-class run 34 hero, to a warehouse in N-City where she is trapped by the Iron Fist gang.
A lowlife then summons his girlfriend Erika, allegedly admitting that she has been an Iron Fist gang member all along. As Big Iron, the gang’s leader emerges in the raw scans of One Punch Man Chapter 180, Erika appears to turn away from Feather and start crying, further supporting this theory. Now, Feather surprises Erika by fighting back and seems to make a noble declaration. Saitama, however, is pushed into his back through the wall he was resting on, interrupting him. Big Iron hits Saitama while Erika stands over Feather and the astonished and bewildered Iron Fist gang watches Tatsumaki and Saitama resume their confrontation. The bald hero deftly returns Big Iron’s blow and sends him soaring off the roof of the warehouse in an act of high comedy.
The Iron Fist crew attempts to band together to take on Saitama and Tatsumaki, but they are swiftly defeated by the latter’s psychic abilities. Later, in the raw scans of chapter 180 of One Punch Man, we see Feather trying to talk to Erika despite his belief that she doesn’t want to aid Big Iron and his crew. When the scene transitions to a burning H-City with people running from their automobiles on roads while a warning alert plays, it seems the two have made up. The creature, which resembles a cross between a hedgehog and a porcupine, then wreaks havoc on H-City with every stride it takes.
But suddenly Metal Bat shows in, with his small sister in tow to watch him on TV. The creature is confronted by Metal Bat, who draws its attention and readies himself for battle. Saitama and Tatsumaki, however, humorously fly through the monster’s skull in the raw scans of Chapter 180 of One Punch Man, killing it accidentally and rescuing the city in the process. After smashing into numerous buildings and having a brief argument, the issue ends with Metal Bat looking bewildered and shaken as he walks away.
