In the recently released chapter 350 of Black Clover, it is seen how Asta was able to reverse the Paladin form with a single slash of his Demon-Slasher Katana. Even though that’s what the story should have been about, mangaka Yuki Tabata took it in a different direction by having Sister Lily spill the beans on Lucius’s agenda. In the last episode, we saw Asta battle Sister Lily in an effort to reverse her transformation into a Paladin. Nevertheless, Asta learned throughout the conflict how Lucius managed his Paladins. One rule that he had implanted in them was that they had to always be honest. When Asta saw how wrong it was, she used the Demon-Slasher Katana to slash Sister Lily.
Asta saves Sister Lily in Chapter 350 of Black Clover
As Sister Lily’s Paladin powers began to dwindle, Asta grabbed her in Chapter 350 of Black Clover, titled “The Holy Woman’s Confession.” Asta apologised to him for the dreadful things she had uttered as she placed Sister Lily down. But Asta never paid attention to them since he realised she was being deceived. Sister Lily continued by saying how worried she was by the prejudice she saw in the aristocratic world toward people who practised magic. As a result, she decided to become a nun in order to start a new life, but she soon discovered that the church was just as full of prejudice and inequality as the outside world.
In light of the fact that her pleas to God had gone unanswered, she had no choice but to flee to the cursed land. She felt compelled to save as many souls as she could, so she started attending services at the Hage village church. It was then when Ryudo Ryuya and Mikuriya Fumito showed up at Asta and Sister Lily’s place, and he explained that, as Asta had previously rescued him, it was now her turn to be rescued. Later, Sister Lily turned to Asta and told him of Lucius’s plans. Since the Day of Judgment was coming up in three days, she brought up how Lucius was getting ready for the ultimate fight. In order to achieve unimaginable strength, he aims to blend his own Soul magic with the Body, Blood, and Bone magic of the Zogratis siblings, she said.
Lucius will be able to control people’s thoughts and bodies with this ability. Because of his godlike abilities, he could even make humans out of thin air. Therefore, Lucius intended to use this ability to take control of all the magic in the world, including the Land of the Sun.
Sister Lily sobbed as she apologised over and again for her part in helping Lucius and for the terrible things she had done, such as unsealing the five-headed dragon and bringing disaster upon the world. Sister Lily apologised, but Asta didn’t accept it because it wasn’t her fault. At Ryuya’s explanation that Sister Lily had been knocked unconscious rather than dying, she passed out. He told Fumito to take care of her after they rescued her from Lucius, who could only be stopped by defeating him. Asta vowed to vanquish Lucius, but he faced a fresh challenge just as he was about to kill the five-headed monster.
Review of Black Clover Chapter 350
Asta became so enraged by Lucius’s deeds that he vowed to defeat him in Chapter 350 of Black Clover. He is eager to speedily achieve victory against the oldest Zogratis brother. But for now, he must cope with the five-headed monster, which, if unchecked, may wreak havoc in the Land of the Sun. Asta may return to the Clover Kingdom after defeating the dragon in the forthcoming chapter.
