Latest Leaks for Chapter 379
Spoilers for next week’s (chapter 379) My Hero Academia have been trickling out all week, and they bring with them some pretty interesting developments for the series. Chapter 379 continues the trend of returning villains from the previous issue by detailing Lady Nagant’s path to the battlefield and reintroducing Oboro Shirakumo’s character. Tomura Shigaraki, in My Hero Academia chapter 379, did the same thing, recovering control of his body from All For One’s ego by clinging to his “beginning.” After this shocking turn of events, Izuku Midoriya, better known as Deku, rescued Shigaraki from the flying coffin and brought him to safety on firm ground, where their seemingly fatal battle began. Fans have expressed an interest in seeing the presently wounded Katsuki Bakugo battle with Deku, although he would be more of a detriment than an asset to the team. It’s best if Bakugo doesn’t get involved in the conflict between Deku and Shigaraki (Chapter 379) of My Hero Academia.
Explanation of why Deku may struggle due to Bakugo’s homecoming
In My Hero Academia chapter 379, readers observed that Deku and Shigaraki appeared to be gearing up for their ultimate showdown. The former appears to be battling to realise his aim of destroying all that reminds him of his boyhood home, while the latter is fighting to rescue Shigaraki himself. Considering that Shigaraki (actual name Tenko Shimura) is the grandson of the former holder of the One For All, Nana Shimura, it stands to reason that this also encompasses Deku. Many viewers believe that Shigaraki’s aim includes killing the current holder of One For All, Deku because Deku was responsible for many of the traumatic events that transpired during Shigaraki’s formative years. Their battle, which is set up in chapter 379 of My Hero Academia, is therefore anticipated to be one of the bloodiest and hardest fought in the whole series. Although it could seem like Bakugo’s entrance to aid Deku would be beneficial, knowing Deku’s hero mindset and past experiences, it’s more probable that Bakugo’s arrival would really be counterproductive.
The most serious worry is that Deku would put Bakugo’s safety and well-being above really harming Shigaraki. Deku’s selfless nature has been a consistent theme throughout the series, as seen by his attempt to save Bakugo from a villain in the pilot episode even though he had no powers at his disposal. My Hero Academia Chapter 379 and onwards will show that the former has the ability to put Bakugo’s life ahead of his own, and there is nothing to prevent him from doing so. The problem is that even if Bakugo is restored, he is not in any shape to face Shigaraki again; he is still hurt and exhausted from his earlier struggle against Shigaraki.
Briefly, then
All this being said, Deku’s prospects of victory against Shigaraki are diminished by Bakugo’s reappearance; he receives no tactical boost from his comeback. With Bakugo hurt, Deku will have to put his focus elsewhere, and his chances of winning against his deadliest opponent yet will suffer.
Latest Updates for Chapter 379
In Chapter 379 of “My Hero Academia,” Lady Nagant returns and begins her ascent to the light. Hawks is still in danger in Gunga, so the former Pro Hero may decide to help him out. There’s still time for a lot to go down in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 379. It will involve not just the entrance of Lady Nagant, but also Shigaraki’s regaining of physical control.
The latest instalment will continue to centre on UA, as Gentle and Lady Nagant are shown again during a medical visit, this time with bandages covering her entire body. It appears that she is completely unable to put up a fight at this moment. That basically means she’s covered in scars from her fight against AFO, and her weapon is held together with duct tape.
She has returned, so the heroes of “My Hero Academia” Chapter 379 may learn how she has become an ally. Following a scene in the last chapter where All Might was seen exiting a room with a bag, fans may recognise him in one of the next battles. Since Deku’s return to UA, his mental health has steadily deteriorated, leading some to speculate that this is a premonition of his imminent death. Daigoro Banjo discloses that Shigaraki and AFO were unable to successfully fuse. It would appear that AFO has lost control of Tomura. However, if the fusion is undone entirely, AFO will be destroyed along with his human body in the Gunga Mountains.
Thus, it is possible that Deku may face Tomura as his last adversary in Chapter 379 of “My Hero Academia.” In the meantime, in Chapter 378 of “My Hero Academia,” La Brava hacks the enemy base and fixes the UA flaws they introduced. Being on the side of the heroes is always appreciated, and La Brava might potentially do great things. The times she was isolated were also depicted in the prior chapter. Yet it also exposed her promising abilities as a hacker, despite her relative inexperience. Supporting the heroes as much as she could, La Brava tried to shield the UA but ran out of time.
She wasn’t the only one who saw a sea change in the protagonist, though; the hero’s perspective seemed to shed light on the matter for everyone. In addition, Gentle came back to help people, something he should have done during the Festival arc but didn’t. The exchange he had with Deku had a favourable effect on him, and he was eager to repay the favour. On January 29th, we’ll be able to read Chapter 379 of “My Hero Academia.”

Recap of Chapter 378
The fourth instalment of “The Story of How We Became Heroes” was the title of My Hero Academia Chapter 378. Aizawa and Monoma are murdered by Twice’s clones. In this episode, we also witness La Brava aiding the heroes and hacking into Skeptic’s systems. Skeptic, too, is trying to escape from his computer systems by making them think and act like human beings. To counter this, La Brava alerts neighbouring heroes of his whereabouts. Soon after, Ms Joke, Hound Dog, and Shindo corner Skeptic. The UA citadel can also be locked with a crash course.
American fighter aircraft are also considering a strike against the clones. Mandalay broadcasts the news that the UA’s fortress has been saved by the power of Gently Super Love. And Deku has figured out that Gentle is behind it all. His confidence in taking on Shigaraki has returned. Shigaraki is warned by Daigoro Bonjo that he must keep his feet off the ground. A bullet rips through Tomura’s palm at that same time. Deku reaches the UA and spots Nagant on a skyscraper. She plans to kill Shigaraki with the gun.
“My Hero Academia,” Chapter 379: Spoilers & Predictions
“Hopes” will be the title of Chapter 379 of My Hero Academia. Nagant will be seen attempting to enter Deku’s battlefield. Now, right now, Nagant is going to express his appreciation to Deku and Hawks. She hopes to make amends to the twosome. As retribution, she manages to blast off Shigaraki’s other hand. But Deku figures out it’s her hand. While everything is going on, AFO is screaming his hatred towards Nagant within his brain. All of a sudden, he starts spitting fingers. From within AFO, Shigaraki announces that his attempt to use him as bait for All Might and One For All has been a complete failure.
He also claims ownership of his body by virtue of having held onto his “beginning” in his heart. AFO won’t be able to tell that he’s up to no good. When the time comes for their final battle, Deku invites Shigaraki to the gym to prepare. Shigaraki also cautions Deku, saying that his background is the only thing that can rescue him. The AFO also gives Kurogiri the command to come to his aid. But now Kurogiri is experiencing some sort of issue. Furthermore, Shirakumo’s background is discernible from his incoherent babbling regarding his pals’ whereabouts and identities. Once Shirakumo reclaims his roots and body, he will return.
