My Hero Academia episode 17 will air on Nippon TV and Yomiuri TV in Japan on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 5.30 p.m. JST, and the teaser photos and synopsis have finally been revealed by Studio BONES. With the exception of a few select regions where the anime will be released on Netflix, the episode, titled The Wrong Way to Put Out a Fire, will be available to view globally on Crunchyroll. Hawks and Best Jeanist checked in on Hawks’ mom in the last episode since she was the only one who might have tipped off the bad guys. Following the shocking revelations of Hawks’ background, the Todoroki family met in Endeavor’s hospital room to discuss their son, Dabi. The trailer for episode 17 of Season 6 of My Hero Academia provides some insight into Dabi’s background.
Episode 17 of My Hero Academia season 6 picks up immediately after the events of episode 16, as Rei Todoroki goes to see her injured husband and kid in the hospital. Toya Todoroki, also known as Dabi, their eldest son, was at the forefront of her mind. Since Endeavor was unable to locate Toya in the blaze, it was declared publicly that he had perished away. As a result, the next episode will investigate how and why Toya got herself into this mess. Although it may appear that Endeavor is to blame, it will become clear in the next episode that he, too, was powerless over the bulk of the situation.
This is a tale of both joy and sorrow for Toya. But for the Todoroki clan, it’s the tale of how they came to be so far apart. The episode will go much further into the backstory of the Todoroki family’s sinister secrets. Enji Todoroki wed Rei, a lady with an ice quirk so that they would have a kid who would be greater than both of them, even the top hero, All Might. The couple quickly became parents for the first time with the birth of their son Toya.
The forthcoming episode will explain how Toya Todoroki came to be trapped in the forest fire, why the Todoroki family fell apart, and why Shoto Todoroki was treated so poorly by his parents.
