Asta contemplated the ineffectiveness of the “induced spatial transit” spell unless Asta was immobile while she searched for a way to get the upper hand over Sister Lily. Similarly, she couldn’t employ the “holy mana dominion” since it was made ineffective by Anti-Magic. The irritated Sister Lily questioned Asta why he didn’t just die before she cast “Sachiel’s flash,” a new Water x Spatial magic spell.
Lily continued her assault while yelling at Asta that he must sacrifice himself for the greater good. Sister Lily eventually admitted that she didn’t want to murder Asta either after hearing Asta say that he wouldn’t allow her to kill him. After this, spoilers for Black Clover chapter 349 revealed that Sister Lily and the other Paladins exhibited allegiance to Lucius since the words “Lucius is right” are valued and embedded in the souls of the Paladins.
