In episode 1048 of One Piece, we learn Yamato’s origin story. It shows not just the difficulties he faced and the abuse he received as a youngster for standing up to Kaido, but also the individuals who stood by him and made sacrifices for him. This reveals the seriousness of his attempt to assume Oden’s identity. Like the previous episodes, this week’s included a montage of conflicts involving many characters. The Straw Hats and their supporters have decided to hold off on giving up until Luffy returns to the battlefield and defeats Kaido, but things are looking up. In Episode 1048 of One Piece, Wano’s warriors make a heroic sacrifice for Yamato.
Kaido vs. Yamato
To the Future! is the title of Episode 1048 of One Piece. In the first part of Yamato and the Great Swordsmen’s Pledge, Kaido plays a mental game with Yamato, trying to get him to give up by convincing him that Luffy would never come back and that their struggle is for nought. In contrast, Yamato was having none of it. When Yamato assumed Oden’s persona, Kaido tried to tell him that their conflict was no longer a family feud. The two continue to trade heavy strikes, raising the intensity level of the battle.
In the air, Momonosuke experiences great hardship.
While this is going on, in One Piece chapter 1048, Momonosuke transforms into a dragon and carries Luffy aloft on his back. But as soon as Luffy cites their altitude, Momonosuke becomes terrified and collapses to the ground.
Willpower to take up the role of Oden; Yamato
Yamato, as a youngster, is depicted battling guards in Onigashima twenty years ago because he wishes to free the Land of Wano. At the time, Yamato was still the Ogre Princess. The majority of them give way once he uses Conqueror’s Haki on them. Then, in chapter 1048 of One Piece, we see Kaido’s minions holding a bloodied and beaten Yamato captive. It’s clear that Yamato has pleased Kaido, but if it means Yamato assuming the guise of his enemy Oden, Kaido would rather see his son killed. Finally, Kaido takes Yamato to a cave, shackles him up, and disappears for a whole month.
Yamato encounters the samurai of the Wano clan
In Chapter 1048 of One Piece, Yamato is seen to be imprisoned in the same cave with three ruthless samurai. Kaido offers them one month to cool off and make up their minds about joining his army. He intentionally sets up a conflict between the four prisoners who are famished by leaving them a single serving of food. After Oden’s death, the Daimyos rose up in revolt, and three of the captives Yamato is holding are revealed to be the leaders of that uprising. After setting Yamato free, they feed him. They look after him, educate him, and show him how to decipher Oden’s journal.
Oden’s writings
According to Oden’s journey log, Roger asked Whitebeard for a year’s loan from Oden to enable him to get to the Final Island. Their voyage from Skypiea to Laugh Tale, where Roger is crowned Pirate King, is shown in an original anime scene in One Piece episode 1048. Twenty years from now, Oden says, the people of Wano will fight for their independence.
This was the samurai’s ultimate act of sacrifice
After hearing Yamato’s resolve to train harder so that he might fight in the upcoming war, the three samurai agreed to help him escape and join the fight despite their own physical limitations. Later, in Chapter 1048 of One Piece, they escape the cave and make the ultimate sacrifice for Yamato.
Briefly reviewing the events of the prior episode
In One Piece Episode 1047, the conflict between the Straw Hats and their friends and the coalition of Kaido and Big Mom continues. The fight between Zoro and Sanji against the King and Queen continued, and the two looked to be making some headway. And it was apparent that Franky had won against Tobi Roppo Sasaki. Alternatively, Big Mom attacked Law and Kid with her Haki. Unfortunately, many of her own weak-willed subordinates were weeded out as a result of this. Afterwards, in episode 1047 of One Piece, viewers got to know more about allies like Yamato, Raizo, and Nekomamushi. Each one was holding out against a different group of adversaries. Finally, viewers got to see Luffy and Momonosuke (in dragon form) getting ready to fight Kaido.
