When did previous events occur in My Hero Academia?
The previous episode opened with Shigaraki, the current leader of All For One, leading the Near High-Ends army in an assault on Tartarus jail in an effort to release the organization’s main body and other captives. Infamous offenders are typically sentenced to life in jail at Tartarus Prison, which is famed for its extreme security. But Shigaraki and his troops were able to breach the major defences and gain entry. Shigaraki tries to regain physical control during the pandemonium, but All For One’s influence is greater; All For One instructs Shagarki to relax and declares that he will become “the next me.” The inmates take advantage of the power outage caused by Shagaraki to cause mayhem and escape. Kaina Tsutsumi, Moonfish, and Stain can all be found in the jail population, as can Muscular.
After reconciling, Shigaraki orders the convicts to join All For One, who boasts that he will become the greatest Demon Lord. In response, All For One sends Nomu on an assault on seven further prisons, six of which are successfully attacked and their captives released. Spinner meets Shigaraki after he has returned to bed and informs him that he has decided to follow him rather than the one who is controlling his body. When Bakugo regains consciousness in the hospital, his friends fill him in on what has happened during the conflict. We then cut to Gran Torino and Eraser Head, both of whom are alive despite their wounds but in extremely precarious health. In the meanwhile, protesters have encircled the hospital, calling for Endeavor and the other heroes to respond. Shoto, now healed from his wounds, decides to put an end to his brother Dabi. In the last moments of the episode, All For One watches over a sleeping Midoriya.
About Episode 16 of Season 6
Episode 16 of season 6 of My Hero Academia, titled The Hellish Todoroki Family, Part 2, takes place in a time and place that are neither during nor after the Paranormal War. There appears to have been widespread destruction as a result of the struggle and the ensuing statewide jailbreak. The complicated history between Hawks and his parents is also explored in this episode. The last scenes take place at a hospital, where the Todoroki family has gathered, and it is implied that the truth of Toya Todoroki’s death is about to be revealed.
The heroes are put on the defensive in My Hero Academia 6×16, and Rei pays a visit to Enji as a result. Using Shigaraki’s corpse as a conduit, AFO escaped inmates from prisons around the country, starting with Tartarus, in the previous episode. Both Stain and Overhaul were later found to be alive and absent, suggesting that they survived the mayhem. While Midoriya was still unconscious, Bakugo and Todoroki awakened from their injuries in the Central Hospital. Aizawa, who had lost an eye and a limb, was also healing. While people were rallying against him, Endeavor was still in surgery.
Season 6, episode 16 of My Hero Academia focuses on Hawks’ history
In episode 16 of season 6 of My Hero Academia, Hawks’ origin tale is shown. His dad was just an average crook who killed somebody and ran away from the law. Tomie took in the criminal, and Keigo was born as a result. His aggressive and neurotic father eventually abandoned the family. The auto thief was apprehended by Endeavor. Keigo, who had previously considered heroes to be the stuff of myths and legends, found himself immersed in a real-life hero society. His mother took him and ran away, but she eventually died. They reported it, and the authorities gave Tomie refuge in return for his slandering the Takami and, eventually, the Keigo surnames.
Hawks and Best Jeanist were recently spotted in a vehicle, with Hawks explaining to Best Jeanist how they faked Dabi out by putting him in a comatose state using Central Hospital technology. The automobile had to halt because Best Jeanist was trying to catch some regular criminals. He inquired of the onlookers and learned that other heroes had abandoned their posts, leaving the region vulnerable. Together with Hawks, he tracked Tomie down to her current residence, where they discovered a message explaining that she had gone into hiding after being threatened with the truth about Keigo’s history. Hawks says that Dabi found the link here even though all ties between them should have been severed. He still vividly recalls the day his mother gave him the Endeavor toy, which ultimately altered the trajectory of his life. Before facing the public, he said Jeanist, needed to get back to his roots, which he said was his respect for the perilous Endeavor.
The social climate, as seen in episode 16 of My Hero Academia Season 6.
The social collapse was detailed in Episode 16 of Season 6 of My Hero Academia. Public panic had been caused by the war’s destruction, the jailbreak, and the discovery of the Nomus. Yoroi Musha (mentor of Ashido, Hagakure, and Aoyama) withdrew from active hero service as hero number nine, and many other heroes followed suit. As the number of heroes dwindled, the people lost trust in them, and criminals ran amok. Since they were unprepared, the populace took matters into their own hands, leading to widespread carnage and loss of life. In one such example, despite his best efforts, the hero Wash was criticised by the populace. Stain returned to his former lair and retrieved his Katana in the sixteenth episode of My Hero Academia Season 6. People were already blaming Endeavor for the heroes’ plight just two days after the combat. There, in Central Hospital, Endeavor regained consciousness. He thought back on Dabi’s discoveries and his childhood memories of Toya, and he wept at the fact that his second son was in imminent danger yet he was helpless to protect him. Shoto Todoroki, upon hearing his father sob, opened his bedroom door and left the room.
Enji sobbed an apology to his family when Shoto, Natsuo, and Fuyumi visited their sick father at the hospital. Enji was taken aback when Rei suddenly materialised from behind her kids. She made him remember how the rest of his family had suffered and how much remorse he felt for them. She turned to him and politely explained why she was there:
Toya, our kid, and the rest of our family.
Observations
Based on the events in episode 16 of season 6 of My Hero Academia, it seems clear that Keigo has never forgiven his parents, especially his mother. He was born with wings, which his parents often criticised him for. Keigo’s character prevented him from burying the bitterness that had grown from his mistreatment. Hawks doesn’t appear touched by his mother’s message, which expresses her pride in him, and instead is preoccupied with finding a way to cleanse his conscience. Jin Bubaigawara’s significance is emphasised here. Hawks, who think that people’s actual selves only emerge when they’re under extreme pressure or have total freedom, are admired Twice.
Likely inspired by Enji’s efforts to make amends with Shoto, he may appreciate Endeavor despite the fact that he has abused his family in the past. Beast Jeanist, who appears to be the least impacted by the current state of things, has resolved to assist his peers and the community at large. My Hero Academia season 6 episode 16 depicts a dismal state of Hero society that makes it easier for villains to succeed. Taking the law into one’s own hands will result in more casualties, and the dwindling number of heroes will make it harder to launch a successful counter-offensive. Although the heroes won the fight, it is now abundantly evident that they are losing the war.
Concluding Ideas
The sixteenth episode of My Hero Academia’s sixth season teases that Stain will play a more significant part in the series going forward. The upcoming episodes will presumably focus on the Todoroki family and the events leading up to Toya’s death, as hinted at in the trailer. Further development of Hawks’s role as a counterpoint to Toya and Shoto in this arc is also hinted at.

The episode will premiere on Nippon TV and Yomiuri TV in Japan on Saturday, January 22, 2023, at 5:30 pm JST. In the last episode, we saw All For One trapped inside Shigaraki’s body trying to break free by battling Tartarus. The teaser for episode 16 of Season 6 of My Hero Academia provides more background on Dabi. After various prisons around Japan have been assaulted and some villains have escaped their containment, the consequences will be shown in My Hero Academia season 6 episode 16. Because so many heroes have fallen in battle, the police are struggling to apprehend the remaining criminals now that they are all out in the open. As a result, urban areas are in disarray because their residents can no longer place their trust in heroes to keep them safe. In response to the uproar, they have decided to take defensive action, targeting the Top Hero Project with their complaints.
The heroes’ reputations are damaged because of the occurrence, which is embarrassing for them. In addition, they have thought deeply about what it means to be a hero because of this occurrence. The teaser hints at Hawks’ harrowing background in the streets when he is seen in the company of Best Jeanist in Hawks’ car. Hawks is still recovering from war injuries. Rei has gone to the hospital to meet her son and husband in the hopes of discussing Dabi’s (Toya Todoroki) background with them. This means viewers will get a peek at the entire Todoroki family. Also, the forthcoming episode may finally explain what went on in the past between Enji and Rei, which caused turmoil in their family and led to Toya’s transformation into Dabi and Shoto’s burn mark.

Season 6, Episode 15 Recap of My Hero Academia
All For One, currently in command of Shigaraki’s corpse, takes the untiring Nomus to Tartarus, a jail housing the worst of the villains, including the actual All For One, while the heroes are hospitalised the same night of the conflict. With the help of the Nomu, All For One is able to sneak into the jail and eliminate any resistance he encounters along the way.
Because All For One’s true form is also housed within Tarturs, the possessed Shigaraki launches a concerted attempt to disrupt the signal that prevents the captives from activating their quirk and liberating them. Moontooth, Muscleman, Stain, and a female prisoner who aids Chisaki and Overahual’s escape are just a few of the prominent inmates that made their escape.
Shigaraki encounters a real All For One and a possessed man, and he convinces the prisoner to follow him since he can bring them out of Tartarus. After evading capture in a helicopter, All For One orchestrates a breakout at six additional prisons around the country. Two days later, when everyone is resting or getting surgery, including Endeavor, we find out that Bakugo has awakened. As Shoto’s mother and siblings come to see him in the hospital, protestors gather outside the facility, blaming Endeavor for everything that’s gone wrong. We also find out that Deku is the only one who is still in a coma at the conclusion of the story.
