The airing of Episode 1048 of One Piece has been scheduled for Sunday, January 22, 2023, at 9:30 am JST. Many viewers are anticipating one final fighting scene between Yamato and Kaido before Luffy’s arrival because of the seeming emphasis on their conflict in the episode’s teaser. In addition, viewers anticipate both of these events to happen in the next episode. Sanji and Zoro’s wars against Queen and King began in the previous episode. As the episode progresses, we see Momonosuke transform into an adult dragon and spend a lot of time with Luffy.
When/where can we expect the premiere?
On January 22 at 9:30 am JST, the new episode 1048 of One Piece will premiere on local Japanese networks. For a small subset of fans in certain parts of the world, this equates to a local release window on a Saturday night. The episode will air on Sunday for the great majority of fans, including Japanese viewers, however, the precise time may vary by country and time zone. Within around 90 minutes of the episode’s initial telecast in Japan, it will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll. Synopsis of Episode 1047
Zoro and Sanji’s battles against the King and the Queen began in Episode 1047 of One Piece. Moreover, they discussed how getting a sight of Luffy in his new role as King of the Pirates would be a great perk of an Onigashima triumph. Unfortunately, this leads directly into a scenario where Franky triumphs against Sasaki and the Beast Pirate lackeys confirm the loss. Finally, Big Mom used her Conqueror’s Haki to confront Law and Kid, defeating countless Beast Kingdom Pirates and freeing Usopp in the process.
The kid starts slowing down as a result of the struggle with Big Mom and Hawkins’ abilities, while the latter turns on Big Mom to save his own skin from his still-conscious opponents. Fans then witness Yamato engaging in battle with Kaido, while other Straw Hats have already won their battles. Luffy and Momonosuke are seen getting ready to leave for Onigashima as the final ongoing battles are resumed. Momonosuke’s mature human form is unfortunately just silhouetted here. Still, his mature dragon form is shown to the fans, and they find it frightening.
What you can anticipate seeing in Episode 1048?
Although many viewers expect Luffy to make his way back to Onigashima in One Piece episode 1048, the program’s focus may instead be on some comedic hijinks when he and Momonosuke attempt to fly back to the island. Similarly, Yamato and Kaido’s conflict isn’t going anywhere in the next episode because Yamato needs Kaido to keep busy until Luffy returns.
Instead, the battle between Sanji and Zoro against the Queen and the King is likely to be continued. It’s unknown which battle will get more attention first, although both might be shown prominently in One Piece episode 1048. Last but not least, One Piece episode 1048 will feature the conclusive deeds of some of the combatants now on Onigashima. After the major battles have concluded, it will be interesting to observe what the remaining members of both sides do with their time in the raid.
