Previewing Tokyo Revengers, Season 2 Episode 3
In episode 3 of season 2 of Tokyo Revengers, we’ll see how Takemichi managed to get out of this jam. The fear of Taiju is evident in Hakkai and Yuzuha’s faces. In this episode, we’ll see what’s giving Hakkai cause for alarm, and why he’ll go on to murder his big bro. As was predicted, financial gain is not at play. As Takemichi’s connection with Hakkai leads him to become involved with the Shiba family, we will see in the third episode of season 2 of Tokyo Revengers just how far he is ready to go to support a friend.
Takemichi still hasn’t figured out what led to the tragic future he abandoned, and he’ll need the support of his friends to get there. Even though Chifuyu hasn’t made an appearance in the past yet in Season 2, Episode 3 will finally be the time he does so. His gradual healing from the pain caused by Baji’s death is a major theme in this section. After the two friends divulge certain secrets, their friendship will flourish.

Synopsis of the 2nd episode of Tokyo Revengers season 2
Hakkai Shiba first encountered Takemichi and Hinata at an arcade at the start of episode 2. Hakkai identified himself as the second division vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji Kai. He and Takemichi spent some quality time together at the arcade, and then he asked them to his place for dinner. The female he was with, he said, was his older sister, Yuzuha. According to Kazutora, the leader of the tenth generation of Black Dragons was killed by this Hakkai, and Takemichi confirmed this to be the case. Upon arriving at his house, they were greeted by the Black Dragon’s members lounging around.
Two of Black Dragon’s commanders, Hajime Kokonoi and Seishu Inui, recognised Takemichi and gave the order to have him killed, but he was saved by Yuzuha and Hakkai. At this moment, Taiju Shiba, the tenth commander of the Black Dragons, returned and began beating Takemichi. As soon as Taiju found out that the latter was Hakkai’s buddy, he sent orders for his younger brother to kill the Toman captain by beating him to death.

Synopsis of Season 2 Episode 2
Takemichi encounters Hakkai and his sister Yuzuha while they are passing the time and having fun together in a bowling alley. Hakkai, seeing that Takemichi does not know him, explains that he is Mitsuya’s vice-captain of Toman’s second division. Yuzuha joins in, expressing a desire to depart, but Hakkai demands that they play 10 more times before they can consider themselves pleased. One day, Takemichi will learn to identify Hakkai, the future 11th leader of the Black Dragon Gang predicted by Kazutora. In addition to seizing all of the gang’s property, he also killed the former boss.
Hakkai keeps on bowling, and eventually, Hina starts to like him. Yuzuha claims that, like a professional bowler, Hakkai utilises the heaviest bowling ball (18 pounds) when he plays.
After seeing Hakkai’s attempt to win over Hina, Takemichi resolves to make a good impression of his own. They began to argue with each other, seemingly about who would get Hina’s attention. After that, Takemichi and Hakkai battled on a punching machine, with Hakkai ultimately coming out on top with a score of 100 to Takemichi’s 50. Takemichi loses in billiards and hamster hammer to Hakkai’s superior technique and quickness.
Hakkai develops feelings for Takemichi as a result and starts to think of him as a brother figure. He also extended an invitation to Takemichi and Hina to visit him at home. Along the journey, Yuzuha begins to question why, despite his weakness and lack of aptitude, Takemichi was selected as a Toman captain. After all, Hakkai is more qualified than Takemichi, in her opinion. Hina, much to Takemichi’s dismay, agrees that Hakkai is more talented and charismatic than she is. On the other hand, Yuzuha reports that Hakkai becomes unresponsive anytime any girl than herself addresses him. Takemichi is shocked to learn that the Hakkai before him is the same villain he will face in the future.
Even more surprisingly, Takemichi learns that Hakkai is rather close to Mitsuya. True enough, Yuzuha reveals to them that Mitsuya’s side profile serves as Hakkai’s screensaver.
Takemichi is perplexed as to the cause of such radical future shifts in Hakkai. He thinks the Black Dragon’s sway over Toman is due in part to Hakkai’s friendship with Mitsuya. They see a bunch of Black Dragons in front of them, blocking the entrance to the Shiba home as they approach. A return of their elder brother, as Yuzuha implies, would be devastating for both Takemichi and Hina, and for Hakkai as a whole. It was Hakkai’s request that Takemichi and Hina leave the region immediately.
Regrettably, it’s already too late, as one of the Black Dragon Gang members has recognised Takemichi. What’s more, the gang’s commander issued a directive for all members to eliminate any visitors from outside the Black Dragon Gang. When the 10th generation’s leaders, Koko and Inupi, direct their troops to attack Takemichi, Hakkai and Yuzuha do their best to stand in their way in order to protect Takemichi and Hina. Hakkai knocks out one of the thugs with a single punch, much to everyone’s amazement. He also expresses regret to Takemichi for dragging the latter into the middle of the argument. He spills the beans that Taiju Shiba, their older brother, runs things for the Black Dragon Gang.
In front of everyone, Inupi threatens Hakkai with a pocket knife after Hakkai publicly criticises Taiju. Kicking Inupi in the face, Yuzuha tells him not to bother her little brother Hakkai. Given that they are willing to attack the leader’s siblings and threaten a girl like Yuzuha, Takemichi knows the Black Dragon Gang is not the same as Toman. Once again apologising to Takemichi, Yuzuha begs him to remove Hina from the region immediately so that she can be safe from the Black Dragon Gang. When the enormous Taiju emerged from the alley, it slammed Takemichi’s head down. He begins to brutally attack Takemichi’s face in front of everyone, drawing blood from Takemichi’s nose and lips. Earlier in the episode, Taiju orders Hakkai to kill Takemichi with a series of brutal blows, and he eventually succeeds.

It left viewers on a cliffhanger that Takemichi had died after being shot by Kisaki in the first season. As Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers begins, Kazutora is able to rescue Takemichi from Kisaki with the help of the Wakui. Due to the absence of Mikey and Black Dragon’s financial support, Kazutora told Takemichi that Toman’s corruption and harassment have reached new heights. In an effort to save Takemichi, Chifuyu falls into Kisaki’s trap. Takemichi and Mikey’s group declines into inanity and shallowness. Murder is only one of several criminal acts in which Tomans partake. Naoto, who agrees with Kazutora and Takemichi that they must end Toman’s corruption, enters the picture.
In the past, Takemichi unwittingly gives the order to assassinate Hinata. While seeing the tape, which Chifuyu had carefully stored away, Takemichi made up his mind to go back in time and fix things. In the second episode of Tokyo Revengers Season 2, HakkaiShiba and his older sister Yuzuha make an appearance from the past. As Episode 3 of Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers will show, Mitsuyama makes a deal with Taiju in order to enable Hakkai to join, provided that Yuzuha stops working for the Black Dragons and Taiju stops assaulting her.
Hakkai reveals to Takemichi and Chifuyu that Taiju has no intention of honouring his vow and may soon plan to kill him to liberate himself and Yuzuha before saying goodbye. Takemichi approaches the Tokyo Manji Gang for assistance in the third episode of Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers, but the gang refuses to act since doing so will reflect poorly on Mitsuya. However, he and Chifuyu only manage to grudgingly enlist Kisaki and Hanma’s assistance. Episode 3 of Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers will premiere on January 22, 2023, at 2:08 AM JST.
