Spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 210, which included some thrilling new information, were made public in the wee hours of January 18th. While it is disappointing that certain information from earlier issues is missing, the thrilling narrative and future setup in this issue more than makeup for it. As a long-standing fan idea is partially validated, this history has sent social media abuzz with speculations of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 210 spoilers. The partial validation of the notion revolving around Megumi Fushiguro’s childhood has made for one of the most intriguing topics in recent memory. In Chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gojo fulfils his pledge to Toji Zenin by assisting in Fushiguro’s upbringing.
Summarization in Brief
The first scene of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 210 reveals that three “abandoned children” are being fostered by a Cursed Spirit. The issue then flashes back to the current day, when Kenjaku’s plot is revealed to Megumi’s gang during a conversation with a soldier. Kenjaku plans to use the soldiers as a means to an end—namely, the assimilation of Tengen by the materialised Cursed Energy. Angel stops Yuji from helping them because he wants neither he nor Hana to waste time on “useless fighting.” The episode then flashes back to how and when Megumi and Yuji first encountered the soldier, with Megumi relating Yuji’s conversation with Angel. Hana had encountered one of the smaller curses that were being used by a powerful curse to lure out the troops.
A brilliant light appears in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 210 when the soldier whom the party spoke to as bait is caught in the curse and he mourns his death in this way. The soldier is spared from the curse thanks to Hana, who turns out to be one of the children from the opening flashback and was herself rescued by Megumi’s white miraculous dog. As a child, he did this accidentally while out with Gojo. Hana rescues the soldier from the curse and reveals that she always knew she would meet “that lad,” referring to Megumi, one day. When Megumi mentions Yuji’s worries about Hana, Yuji explains that she will eventually take Nobara’s position. Sadly, this suggests that she has passed away. Megumi closes the chapter by advising Yuji to apologise to Hana.
How this demonstrates that Gojo had a hand in Megumi’s upbringing
Although it isn’t explicitly stated in chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen that Gojo was involved in raising Megumi, readers are led to believe this is the case by many crucial indicators. The fact that the former took him on a stroll may seem conclusive, but it’s possible that this was just a one-time occurrence and that Gojo isn’t a regular part of Megumi’s life.
Seeing how he treated Megumi in that little flashback cemented my suspicions. When Fushiguro goes with Gojo and sees his Divine Dog again, he has a natural emotion on his face, as shown in the flashback. Even though he’s always had a sombre demeanour, you’d think he’d show some childlike enthusiasm if going for a stroll with Divine Dog was a once-in-a-lifetime event. Gojo and Megumi act quite carelessly in the past; they even tousle Gojo’s hair as they walk away from Hana with their backs turned to her.
Also, he seems to know and trust Megumi well enough now that he didn’t even mention the absence of an answer to his query. In addition, the timeline of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 210 is unclear, but it likely takes place sometime after Gojo’s Past Arc. In other words, not even a year or two after Toji’s death, Gojo is probably already caring for Fushiguro. It not only confirms that Gojo has been by Fushiguro’s side from the beginning, but also proves the sincerity of Gojo’s statements to Toji.

Spoilers for Jujutsu Chapter 210
An early flashback in the next chapter will see three orphans being fostered by a Curse. One of the girls spits up a screw that ends up in her meal, and you can tell that they’re living in appalling conditions. The curse that is raising them has a monstrous appearance, with a stacked body and a multitude of faces. The film then flashes forward to the current day, where Megumi is having a chat with a soldier after realising that Kengaku orchestrated the military’s invasion of the colonies in order to fuse the manifested Cursed Energy from each colony into Tengen. Yuji resolves to aid the troops after learning of Kenjaku’s manipulation of them, but Angel discourages him, saying their efforts would be futile.
She also warns them to keep herself and Hana out of the conflict. Nonetheless, Yuji continues to urge her to pitch in. No mention of the confrontation from the previous chapter indicates that the soldier who disclosed this information is not the same one who attempted an assault on them in that chapter. Now, though, we know how Yuji and his companions first met the soldier they’re chatting with. Before Hana ever meets him, a gigantic curse is shown resting on top with a fishing line, ready to use the troops as bait to pull out the weak curses. Another soldier is ready to be used as bait by the curse, and he has a lot of conflicting ideas. The soldier believes he knew he would die someday, but he never anticipated going out in such a horrific way. Seeing as how he is the same soldier Megumi was speaking with, the sudden appearance of a brilliant light on him likely indicates the sorcerers rescuing the soldier.
Megumi then reveals what she and Yuji had discussed earlier: Angel. Back in the past, one of the little girls figures out that the adult caring for them is not their mother and begins to follow the fluffy white dog that was Megumi’s Divine Dog and the one who saved her. It turns out that Megumi saved that girl, Hana Kuruse, when he was a youngster and out on a stroll with Gojo. Hana was confident that she would run into the same boy once again. And thus, in order to be equal to him, she has made the decision to aid others with Megumi.
Megumi confronts Yuji about his unpleasant conduct with Angel and Hana, and Yuji explains that he has been frightened of Hana becoming a replacement for Nobara ever since they first met. Megumi begs him to apologise, and Yuji promises that he will in the future. The story finishes with everyone back together again. Gege Akutami states in his final message that he intends to wrap up the narrative this year and wishes his readers a good new year.
