When did that happen before?
In episode 14 of Blue Lock, titled “The Geniuses and the Average Joes,” we saw Isagi and Nagi encounter Barou and Naruhaya after all four strikers were demoted to the second level. They would better be cautious about who they play next, because a loss may mean getting booted out of Blue Lock for good. As Isagi and Nagi brainstormed potential solutions, Naruhaya challenged the former to a match, dangling the prospect of gaining Barou in front of him. While Nagi single-handedly carried both squads with his weaponry, Isagi had a hard time keeping up. As much as Isagi wanted to win the battle by only concentrating on Naruhaya, the former player found that Naruhaya was just as powerful as him. At the end of the episode, the score was tied at two, and Naruhaya was seen taking a shot.
Episode 15 of Blue Lock airs on TV Asahi on Sunday, January 22 at 1:30 a.m. JST. It will be streamed on Crunchyroll across the world, with the exception of a few regions where Netflix will host the anime instead. In the previous episode, Isagi and Nagi returned to the second stage in an effort to better understand where they went wrong. During their endeavour, the partnered Naruhaya and Barou presented them with a challenge. The game then got underway, with Isagi having trouble making any real contributions as Nagi single-handedly maintained a tie score.

Episode 15 of Blue Lock: What to Expect?
In episode 15 of Blue Lock, Yoichi Isagi will figure out how to overcome his one-on-one difficulties in the match, since none of his weapons is currently effective against the opponent players. For the time being, his partner Seishiro Nagi has been carrying him through the play with his skilful use of weaponry in the 2v2 match. Isagi understands that overcoming Naruhaya is the key to winning the battle against his opponents, but so far he has been unable to do it. In this way, Isagi may be compelled to acquire new knowledge or form fresh insights.
