Season 2 episode 2 of Tokyo Revengers introduced viewers to Taiju Shiba, Hajime Kokonoi, Seishu Inui, and the 10th generation of Black Dragons. The episode also deepened the bond between Takemichi and Hakkai and gave viewers a glimpse into the relationship between the three Shiba brothers and sisters. The arc’s last theme song, Kizutsukedo, Aishiteru, was included in the second episode of Tokyo Revengers Season 2. (It might be painful, but I still love it). The song ends with Mikey in his hiding in Manilla, but not before focusing on Yuzuha and providing brief views into the Tenjiku chronology.
In episode 2 of season 2 of Tokyo Revengers, Takemichi meets the three Shiba siblings for the first time, along with Koko and Inui. Gotta Go is the name of the second episode of season 2 of Tokyo Revengers. When we first join Takemichi and Hakkai Shiba, they are at the arcade. The other young guy immediately recognised Toman’s first-division captain and presented himself as the second-division vice-captain. Hairstyle aside, Takemichi identified him as the same Hakkai Shiba who, according to Kazutora, would ascend to the presidency of the 11th generation of Black Dragons by assassinating the outgoing leader in exchange for financial gain. In contrast, the Hakkai of old appears to be a young man of Takemichi’s carefree age. He accompanied his older sister Yuzuha to the arcade, where he hung out with Hinata and Takemichi for a while. In little time at all, they were the best of friends, and Hakkai even asked them to his house.
When Takemichi questioned how he got along with Mitsuya, Yuzuha said that Hakkai was good friends with the second-division captain. They returned to their house to find the Black Dragon waiting for them. Taiju Shiba, Hakkai and Yuzuha’s older brother, was revealed to be the current president of the Black Dragons in episode 2 of Tokyo Revengers season 2. Hajime Kokonoi, the chief of the special guards, ordered one of his men to assault Takemichi, but Hakkai quickly dispatched the assailant. Seishu Inui, leader of the commando troops, threatened Hakkai with a knife after he spoke ill of his brother. Yuzuha kicked Inui away in retaliation and then warned everyone to stay away from her brother. Takemichi recalled at this point that former Black Dragon members Koko and Inui would eventually join Toman. Just then, Taiju Shiba showed in and began beating Takemichi severely. Then he had Hakkai kill Takemichi with a beating.
Observations
Hakkai is depicted in episode 2 of Tokyo Revengers as a cheerful young man who secretly fears his brother. As with Takemichi, the audience may be misled by this picture, which is not completely false but is nevertheless misleading. The concluding song emphasises Yuzuha’s significance and presents her in a more realistic light. Taiju Shiba appears dangerous and erratic.
He is the main opponent in this section. Kazutora claims that Hakkai murdered Taiju and assumed control of the Black Dragons. In any case, he probably wasn’t motivated by financial gain. This arc will focus mostly on Takemichi learning the truth and his subsequent determination to save Hakkai. Kokonoi seems to have more common sense than Inui, although they’re both committed to Taiju. Also misleading; their actual intentions won’t be made clear until the season finale. The approaching confrontation will also be impacted by Mitsuya’s influence over Hakkai and his bond with the boy.
Concluding Ideas
Although Chifuyu has not been seen in any previous episodes, he is anticipated to make an appearance in the upcoming one. While Mikey’s presence in this storyline isn’t as substantial as in the Valhalla arc, we may still expect to see him in the next episode or two. Instead, Mikey from the future of Tenjiku, or “Manilla Mikey,” is featured in the closing tune. This suggests that at least up to manga chapter 118 will be covered in season 2 of Tokyo Revengers.
