This week’s edition of Blue Lock showed viewers the results of the third-stage match. After the top three took Bachira, only Isagi and Nagi were left to return to the second stage. The two strikers will need to face off against formidable foes if they are to advance in the selection process since the Rivalry Battle was advertised as a difficult contest. In the last episode, Isagi’s white squad was completely defeated by Itoshi’s red team. The white team took the lead early on, but the top three scored five unanswered goals to win the game, 5-2. As a result, Bachira was chosen to participate in the fourth phase with them.
In episode 14 of Blue Lock, Naruhaya sets his sights on Isagi.
Episode 14 of Blue Lock, titled “The Geniuses and the Average Joes,” begins with Isagi and Nagi sitting in the second-stage waiting room and pondering their loss. Isagi, on the other hand, was concerned about losing and being ousted from the Blue Lock, while the latter was considerably more optimistic about their next matchups. Nagi was upset by this news since he thought that spending time playing football with Isagi would be good for his development. Barou walked in a few minutes later, having also just lost his third round on the stage. Barou’s teammate, Naruhaya of Team Z, was unveiled when Nagi and he began to argue. They had to wait 24 hours before playing again, which he shared with the team.
Nagi and Isagi were overheard discussing how their playstyle required them to play alongside someone who had a strong passing sense before the two teams split up and went in different directions. Therefore, they needed to rely on their own abilities to succeed against their foes. A little later, while Isagi was practising on his own, Naruhaya came up to him and explained how they were in the same position. Both would be eliminated if their team lost, but Naruhaya let it slip that he intended to play Nagi and Isagi in a way that would benefit his team by recruiting Nagi. After agreeing to the match, Isagi and the other player continued their training with the rest of their squad. Barou made an immediate impression with a 29-meter shot right at the start of the encounter. After this, Nagi scored his own goal after capitalising on a bad pass from Isagi.
His Black Hole receiver set up his next goal, which he finished with a shot into the top corner. Shortly after, Naruhaya picked up a stray ball following Barou’s strike and assisted on his second goal. At the end of regulation, with the score tied at two, Naruhaya completely dominated Isagi and defended against him, allowing him to go behind and make a shot on goal.
