Black Maria challenges Robin until she cracks.
Episode 1044 of One Piece is great, especially the combat sequences. The animation staff did a fantastic job of giving the battle a real sense of intensity. Ever since the opening of One Piece 1044, Black Maria has been one step ahead of Robin. She ensnares her in a web and then slams her face onto a table with her bare knuckles. But as Robin tries to fight back, she gets caught in the spider webs and is doused in flames. As Black Maria continues to make fun of the archaeologist for her seeming ineffectiveness, Brook jokes that if he were in her position, he would go away.
Afterwards, he builds an ice wall between Robin and Black Maria, which she takes to be an act of abandonment on Brook’s part. On the other hand, Robin can’t help but think of Olivia, Saul, the Straw Hats, and the Revolutionary Army. She thinks back on how the label of “devil kid” has followed her around for her whole life, and how it in itself has served as a source of inspiration for her struggle.
In this episode, Robin confesses that Demonio Fleur
In One Piece episode 1044, it seems for a time that Robin is starting to feel the effects of Black Maria’s assaults. The latter, however, uses the Fish-Man Karate techniques she picked up from Koala and Hack on Baltigo to put out the blaze. She then takes on a demonic appearance, complete with batlike wings and horns and a mask that conceals her true identity. She tells Maria that she would turn into a devil for the sake of those who depend on her.
The intellectual Robin, on the other hand, thinks fists are too violent and opts to smack instead. In this way, we learn that the archaeologist who works with the Straw Hats has been deliberately holding back, but that she no longer desires to. She takes confidence in being called a “devil kid,” and uses it to her advantage. When the struggle finally comes to a conclusion, Robin uses a Grand Jacuzzi Clutch on Black Maria, breaking her body. Meanwhile, Brook kills every foot soldier for Black Maria, and afterwards, Robin collapses in his arms from exhaustion.
Getting ready to take on Kaido, Luffy and Momonosuke
Later, in Episode 1044 of One Piece, Caribou uses the power of the Swamp-Swamp Devil Fruit to deliver Luffy a month’s ration of meat, which Luffy eats to replenish his vigour.
From a safe distance, Momonosuke begs Shinobu to employ Ripe-Ripe jutsu on him so that he might grow into an adult dragon with greater size and strength. The second refuses since using her abilities on him in Onigashima would render him permanently changed from his natural form, which is why he shouldn’t travel there. However, as Momonosuke explains, if he does not act, the Flower Capital and the Land of Wano would be devastated.
In the previous episode, what transpired?
In the prior episode, Brook was the main character. At first, he didn’t mind that the Illusion Mist made him see ghosts of his old crewmates, but later he confessed that it was horrible to watch them die again. Black Maria had previously tried to utilise Robin’s recollection of Ohara to weaken her. Then, Black Maria and Robin got into it. The latter was made to feel worthless by the Tobiroppo, who took great pleasure in insulting her. Despite her best efforts, Robin’s usage of Giant Fleur made her a sitting duck for her enemies.
On the other side, the Heart Pirates were at a loss over how to supply additional food to Luffy, who had drained their cupboard. Caribou emerged at that point with a great amount of food since he wanted Luffy to live and assist him depart the island. The episode closed with Luffy requesting that Momonosuke fly him up to Onigashima.
