With today’s release of Episode 1040 of One Piece, Jinbe, the Straw Hat Pirates’ Thousand Sunny’s captain, finally gets the recognition he deserves. Before this episode, Jinbe had an encounter with the current Tobiroppo, who used to be a member of CP-9. This episode marks the beginning of their fight after much buildup. Any admirer of the ex-Sun pirate should see the documentary The Pride of a Helmsman—The Enraged Jimbei! In One Piece 1040, Jinbe is put in the spotlight when he squares off against a Who’s Who of pirates.
What happens when Gifters betray their team?
Back a few episodes, Otama was responsible for a mass betrayal of Gifters. About two thousand fighters switched sides under her persuasion, which has been a huge burden for the Animal Kingdom Pirates. Episode 1040 of One Piece further illustrates how the odds have shifted in favour of the Straw Hat Pirates because of Otama’s skills. The Gifters step in when her adversaries try to capture or murder her.
Members of CP0 sit in a guest parlour inside the castle and talk about how the disparity between Kaido’s 30,000 pirates and Luffy’s 5,000 allies has been nearly eliminated. Kaido’s crew of pirates now numbers 16,000, while the Straw Hats’ crew has grown by 9,000 since they began their rebellion.
Zeus is now Nami’s partner
After witnessing the beneficial effects of Otama calling the Gifters her friends, Zeus asks Nami to make him her attendant in One Piece episode 1040. Nami, however, says she isn’t interested in keeping him as a servant, henchman, or maybe even a pet. When Big Mom threatened to destroy Zeus if he didn’t take action against Nami, Zeus decided to take action. Unfortunately for his enemies, Zeus soon turns black and thunders over them after Nami accepts him as her partner. Usopp says that Nami is so manipulative that she can get anyone to do what she wants.
Proof of Jinbe and Luffy’s friendship
Who’s Who Tell Jinbe he went to jail for not securing a Devil Fruit on a Government ship. Luffy is Who’s Who’s a target because he inherited and enjoyed the Devil Fruit, despite the fact that Red Haired Shanks stole it. Jinbe expects Luffy to return to battle, so he’s trained to take out anyone threatening his captain. Jinbe enlists Luffy’s aid in an effort to save Ace; he consoles Luffy after Ace’s death; Luffy invites him to join the crew, and Luffy is overjoyed to have him back. This reveals to viewers of One Piece episode 1040 the inspiration for Jinbe’s undying devotion to Luffy.
What’s Up, Jinbe, vs. Who Are You?
The fight sequence between Jinbe and Who’s Who in episode 1040 of One Piece does not disappoint fans who have been waiting eagerly for such a fight. Who’s Who takes the initiative and fires a Fang Pistol at Jinbe. Blood is spilt as Jinbe attempts to use Armament Haki to prevent pain, but fails. In later chapters, he opts to avoid taking damage, and he does so effortlessly. Who’s Who may have been right in thinking this was a good idea, given how feeble Jinbe’s Haki is, but the reality is that at first, Jinbe wasn’t even trying.
When Jinbe overhears Who’s Who making racist comments about the Fishmen & how they were an enslaved race, he explodes. The relentless Who’s Who assaults have little effect on him. In One Piece Episode 1040, Jinbe takes the initiative and punches Who’s Who with his Demon Brick Fist, ending the fight.

What to Anticipate in Episode 1040 of One Piece?

The Onigashima Raid has entered its climactic phase. The episode’s plot is sure to be interesting. One Piece Episode 1040 has a number of different storylines. There will be additional pre-release spoilers available to fans. Kaidou’s spectacular victory over the Straw Hat Pirates’ captain was depicted in the previous episode. Also, the Straw Hats were outnumbered by Big Mom’s forces, making it difficult for them to win any battles. When Samurai realised they had lost Luffy, Momonosuke broke the news that he was still alive. The Samurai has regained his strength and is determined to triumph.
There will be a flashback of Niji and Yonji getting beaten up by Big Mom in One Piece Episode 1040. The Big Mom survives Kid’s assault and plots to shorten the lives of everyone around him. Legal restrictions, however, prevent her from continuing. The child keeps shooting at Big Mom until she collapses. She loses her footing and tumbles into the fort’s armoury, carrying Kazenbou and the entire bomb with her. While Big Mom is sinking to the depths of Onigashima, she thinks to herself, “why didn’t you simply say it before you die, Roger?”
While telling Law and Kid not to worry about her, Big Mom follows Wanokuni into his burrow. There is a massive explosion in the pit, and we can only pray that this is the end of Big Mom. Kid and Law are the victorious teams, and the narrator says so. Momo, on the other hand, reports that the massive elephant Zunisha is on his way to see Yamato. When Yamato reads about a massive elephant in Oden’s notebook, he naturally wants to know if this is the same one. Asked if Joy Boy’s Nakama had committed a crime 800 years ago, Momo said, “Yes it is.”
