Fans discuss the latest episode of My Hero Academia, which pits the UA Students against Gigantomachia and Shigaraki. Episode 7 of My Hero Academia Season 6 opens with news reports on the conflict in Jaku City. It turns out that a lot of the area was wiped off, but everyone’s getting out of there okay. Gran Torino, however, has seen Nomus rising from where Dr Garaki’s lab once stood. The Pro Heroes are already up against it in their war against Shigaraki, and now Nomus has arrived to make matters much worse. Despite Endeavor and Ryuku’s best efforts, Shigaraki is able to overwhelm them with his overwhelming might when Aizawa disabled Decay. However, Shigaraki figures out what’s going on and rushes Aizawa to kill him.
Despite the impression that the Pro Heroes are running late, Midoriya and Bakugou arrive at the exact right time and immediately begin an all-out assault on Shigaraki. As a teary-eyed Professor Aizawa watches his pupils, Endeavor joins in as well, mostly to back up the two young Heroes. Meanwhile, Pro Heroes’ and students’ rear guards witness Gigantomachia emerging from his lair. After talking it over with Tomura, he’s resolved to follow his master to Jaku City come hell or high water. In the course of his recruitment, he even acquires the founding members of the League of Villains.
However, Mt. Lady steps in and tries to halt Gigantomachia, only succeeding in slowing him down because of his immense strength. Midnight tries to use her Quirk on him as well but ends up severely hurting herself in the process. Thankfully, she thinks of a solution and calls Momo to say that they’ll administer sedatives to put Gigantomachia to sleep. Both classes 1-A and 1-B opt to stay and prepare to fight Gigantomachia regardless of the presence or absence of Pro Heroes. Fans were particularly impressed by Shigaraki’s fight against Deku, Bakugou, and the others in Episode 7 of Season 6 of My Hero Academia. People are praising everything from the emphasis on the relationships to the action scenes and even the comedic moments in these scenes, which are at the centre of the episode’s discussion on social media.
Fans are also praising the episode’s voice acting, particularly from Daiki Yamashita as Deku, Junichi Suwabe as Aizawa, and Kaori Nazuka as Mt. Lady. The episode’s emotional scenes with these characters are greatly enhanced by the stellar performances of all three voice actors.
