That book is Ohara’s most valuable possession, and Monkey D. Dragon has vowed to protect it at all costs. We can only hope that the World Government is aware of what’s happening and is on its way to dealing with it.

Though Monkey D. Dragon initially planned to recruit Vegapunk into the Freedom Army, he has instead found that his new friend is a willing lapdog for the government. It’s not just that Dragon feels offended; he’s also disappointed. However, the avaricious scientist has no interest in serving in the underfunded army, where he would be unable to make use of his inventions and advanced technology. And the military can’t afford to pay him.
When Dragon finally understood, he said, “Okay, I get it. To this day, you haven’t changed one bit; you’re still the same forthright individual. Vegapunk advises Dragon to keep his sights locked on his opponent. Dragon, however, mustered an army to defend priceless artefacts and Ohara’s book. He claims he will make everything better.
