The forthcoming chapter of One Piece had its first round of spoilers posted online only yesterday. Now, significant lore-related disclosures can be expected thanks to internet spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1066. Vegapunk, Dragon, and the Giants are the targets of these disclosures. It also reveals something very important about the Void Century and its connection to the World Government, which is quite secretive about this topic.
Updated Spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1066
Spoilers before this one showed that following the Buster Call from the World Government, Monkey D. Dragon and Vegapunk made their way to Ohara. After arriving at Elbaf, they discovered that not all of Ohara’s books had been burnt. Here it was also revealed that Dragon’s opposition to the World Government stems from him receiving the Buster Call on Ohara. It has recently been exposed through leaks that Vegapunk’s knowledge comes from the books that were hidden from Ohara. It was also revealed that Dragon had invited Vegapunk to join him, despite the fact that the scientist had preferred to remain with the World Government.
Additionally, the leaks state that Vegapunk was able to communicate with Jaguar D. Saul, who is still alive and residing in Elbaf. It was also revealed how Vegapunk acquired and remembered the literature while on Elbaf. Vegapunk concluded by saying that the 20 nations that make up the current World Government fought against the Ancient Kingdom.
According to him, this conflict occurred in the Void Century a number of centuries ago.
The Possible Reveal of the Century’s Missing Truth
In case you forgot, the Void Century is a century-long void in the recorded history of the One Piece universe. The Ohara academics who studied it were silenced when Robin was a youngster because the World Government forbade further investigation into the subject.
There is not much known about the Void Century at this time. But it now appears that the events of that century hold the key to unlocking secrets throughout the planet, perhaps even the One Piece.
Take these spoilers with a healthy dose of salt, of course. You may wish to wait until the weekend, when the next chapter is released on Manga Plus and Weekly Shonen Jump, to learn the official outcome.
