We are almost to the end of our ordeal. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 202 is almost here, which means fans may finally find out what happens to the sorcerers. It’s only that lots of plots will be going on at once. Okay, so we’ve established that American soldiers were involved; now we have Yuki acting defiantly. Yuki plans to confront her grandfather, who abandoned them, in the next narrative.
She will inquire about their history in an effort to better understand their present predicament. Yuki thinks that she should help Gojo in his efforts to make peace with them by accompanying him on his journey to do so. Can we be sure that what she’s doing is appropriate?
Recap of Chapter 201
Cyrus Veil was able to convey the significance of the cursed energy in the 201st chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen. And you can put it to work producing electricity as well. He highlighted that if one sorcerer could generate enough energy to last a whole lifetime, just think of what a group of sorcerers might do. They were unable to do so due to fundamental differences in how their brains worked. The President was appalled by the prospect of conducting experiments on human subjects.
But Cyrus kept on ranting about how Japan was being taken advantage of by other countries. He was successful in persuading the President into saying that the operation will be conducted to safeguard the country’s citizens from outside threats. That may be aimed at wizards or sorcerers. The President’s statement was approved by Kenjaku. Uraume heard all they were saying.
Next, Kenjaku disclosed that sorcerers made up a small percentage of the population. That they might take samples during the month of November. Eventually, Kenjaku identified himself to the White House staff as Suguru Geto. To ensure the safety of Japanese Americans, the president authorised heightened patrols of local Japanese communities.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 202: Spoilers & Predictions
Spoilers indicate that the next chapter will begin with Yuki Tsukumo and Tengen discussing the unsuccessful mission of Gojo and Geto. They were unable to successfully defend Riko Amanai, the Star Plasma Vessel. During their conversation, it becomes clear that Yuki was formerly a Star Plasma Vessel. She dislikes being one, though.
However, Tengen assures her that her unique ability far surpasses that of any other vessel. Tengen then explains why he and Yuki took the chance by saying that they had to confront reality. They said that if Tengen kept evolving, he would eventually become a danger to humanity, despite the fact that he could have blended in long ago. Because of this, Yuki will become enraged and begin to curse Tengen, holding him guilty for putting this kind of pressure on such young shoulders.
So she defies her Vessel duty and acts out. Yuki, too, sometimes thinks back to the times before she became the Star Plasma Vessels and wonders whether she may have been better off helping Gojo and Geto.
This week’s leak of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 202 gives fans a sneak peek at Yuki Tsukumo’s chat with Tengen and Kenjaku’s subsequent arrival at Jujutsu High. The raw scans reveal that they were debating Riko Amani’s background and the ship’s ultimate fate. Shocking information about Yuki’s true identity was revealed in the spoilers, but her role in Tengen’s development remains unclear. In order to assess whether or not Yuki was to blame for Tengen being Kenjaku’s target, this article examines her position in the series and their dialogue.
Some insights about the Star Plasma Vessel and Tengen’s development from Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 202
How much blame does Yuki deserve for Riko Amani’s untimely demise?
The fact that Yuki Tsukumo is a former Star Plasma Vessel is revealed in the raw scans of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 202, which also imply that she refused to give up her body to merge with Tengen. In this chapter, she and Tengen reflect on the past as she presses him for answers, asking whether or if there were any other Star Plasma Vessels after Riko with whom he could have fused. To which Tengen says that there were, there was no one as promising as herself. Yuki confronts the eternal sorcerer, demanding to know why he or she took the risk of not joining while knowing what Kenjaku meant.
She wonders how Tengen can put so much responsibility for their own bad karma onto their children and how they can use their past to justify this action. In addition, she says that Yuki would have joined the Star religious group if its leaders hadn’t ordered the killing of the Star Plasma Vessels. It is uncertain if Yuki’s ability to hear the voices of former Vessels who have fused with Tengen is a result of her own status as a former Star Plasma Vessel, as revealed in chapter 202 of Jujutsu Kaisen.
There is little doubt that Yuki does not approve of the merging procedure in general, and the show has yet to reveal why she has not merged with Tengen. Because of this, her criticisms of Tengen are quite hypocritical, as she criticises them for taking the danger of developing into a menace to humanity, just as she herself is accused of doing. According to the events of the Gojo’s Past arc, Yuki is likely in her 30s because she was much older than Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto when Riko Amanai was murdered 12 years ago.
Because of this, we know that she was a Star Plasma Vessel long before Riko was selected and that her unwillingness to combine ultimately doomed Riko. It is possible that Yuki has gone into some sort of contract or Binding Vow that forbids her from interfering with Tengen’s assimilation with a Star Plasma Vessel, given her remarks about the position of the Star religious organisation. Even though Yuki’s circumstances were exceptional, her outward displays of remorse and wrath imply that she has some responsibility for Riko Amanai’s murder.
When may Tengen have joined forces with another ship?
After Riko Amanai was murdered, Yuki confronts Tengen in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 202 raw scans, demanding to know why they took the risk of not combining with another Vessel. Given that assimilation would only briefly halt their progress, Tengen argues that they had no choice but to succumb to reality. Tengen admits there’s no telling if or when they could grow into a menace to mankind, but he uses the failed fusion with Riko Amanai to justify his action. Beyond failing to merge with a new vessel, Tengen says, their ego expanded beyond their physical body.
However, with the use of barrier methods, they were able to keep their sense of self intact, a feat they believe is feasible even after the end of their growth. In chapter 202 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Tengen’s answer to Yuki’s query is just as dishonest as Yuki’s own attitude toward the merging process. Tengen blames Yuki and the other Star Plasma Vessels in his explanation, and he further upsets Yuki by asking her to interpret the voices of the prior Vessels. Yuki claims that it is her duty as a former Star Plasma Vessel to keep the Vessels’ conversations secret. She continues by saying that she has no plans to make matters easy for Tengen since they would use the words of the ancient Vessels to excuse their own actions.
Discretionary Reflections
By introducing the idea of Tengen’s integration with Star Plasma Vessels and their development, chapter 202 of Jujutsu Kaisen raises a challenging philosophical topic. The moral dilemma presented here is whether or not a Vessel should be coerced into giving up their physical body as well as their opportunity at a normal existence in the name of saving the world.
It appears that Tengen has dishonoured the decision of previous Vessels by choosing not to merge with another Vessel and so risk Kenjaku utilising them to start the evolution of all non-sorcerers in Japan.
