Summary of “One Piece” Chapter 1063
A freezing Charlotte Cracker reaches out for someone on the cover of One Piece Chapter 1063, while a laughing Charlotte Brulee may be seen in the background. The public seems to think that Kuzan (Aokiji) kidnaps Charlotte Pudding. At the beginning of Chapter 1063, Luffy, Bonney, and Chopper emerge from the Food Machine looking sated. Vegapunk Atlas is delighted that her food gadget was useful to the group. Even Jinbe laughs at her quip about the group’s bloated stomachs.
Recycle Cur, a canine-like robot created by Vegapunk Atlas seems to be collecting rubbish from all the residents. She says her goodbyes to Luffy and the others before heading back to work. Some lab assistants emerge from behind the group as they ponder Vegapunk Atlas’s employment status. Enel’s interaction with robots on the moon inspired the design of the lab helpers. This robot’s mechanic isn’t Vegapunk, though. Bonney is perplexed as to why the lab workers on a tropical island like Egghead are wearing heavy coats and scarves.
Chopper is taken aback when he sees Luffy dressed like the lab staff in winter gear.

When Luffy decided to undergo a transformation, the rest of the crew soon followed suit. We see Bonney don a combat uniform, Jinbe don tropical garb, and Chopper don a futuristic getup. As Bonney mulls over whether or not to abandon Luffy’s crew, the cyborg-like Bartholomew Kuma approaches, dressed as a police officer. The situation quickly becomes worse as Kuma rushes Luffy and the others with his laser beam. Kuma claims that Luffy and the others are thieves since they allegedly took food and clothing from the vending machines.
Luffy and the others manage to dodge Kuma’s assault. They were also taken aback to learn that Kuma was out to murder them for taking what they thought to be free provisions and garments. Luffy feels compelled to get revenge and lunges at Kuma with his elephant rifle; however, Bonney stops him and pushes him away. When questioned by Luffy, Bonney reveals that Kuma is her father and the only relative she has left in the world. With tears in her eyes, Bonney begs Luffy and the others to spare her father’s life. However, Luffy tells Bonney that the Kuma in front of them is a Pacifista.
Luffy, dodging Kuma’s laser, quickly moves to Bonney’s side. Kuma’s laser beam causes a catastrophic explosion, wiping out a big portion of the island in the process. The Heart Pirates’ Polar Tang submarine is in serious danger after being attacked by the Blackbeard Pirates in the New World’s oceans. Due to Trafalgar Law, their submarine will sink if they are unable to resurface. He also suggests territory to the north of where they are as an option for getting away. While giving orders to get his men ready for a fight, Law suddenly turns into a woman. Bepo, who is in the background, also has a feminine appearance.
As a sickness spreads via physical contact, it stands to reason that gender switching would be infectious. Trafalgar Law utilises his extensive Haki accumulated from his time spent fighting the Emperors to stave off the sickness. He reversed to the other gender, and their sub came back to the surface. Evidently, Doc Q used his Sick-Sick Devil fruit power to release the Ma-Lady Transformation Plague. Burgess is told that Van Augur, who has the power to use the Teleport Warp Devil Fruit, will warp him to the island where the Heart Pirates would regroup. Suddenly, Jesus Burgess appears before the Heart Pirates, much to their astonishment. The Heart Pirates are crushed as Burgess utilises the power of the Buff-Buff Devil Fruit to raise a mountain on top of them.
