In Episode 1037 of One Piece, what can we expect to see?
After what seemed to be a decisive victory over Luffy, Kaido headed back to Onigashima. Kin’emon attempted to intervene, but he lacked the strength to do more than stun the Emperor. Thankfully, he provided Momonosuke and Shinobu enough time to deliver an encouraging word to their fellow soldiers. As soon as Luffy regains consciousness, he will resume his mission to eliminate Kaido forever. The trailer for One Piece episode 1037 suggests the captain is still sinking, thus unfortunately Luffy will not wake up in this episode. Regardless of what Kaido says, though, his crewmates and compatriots will continue to battle.
In this next episode, Sanji and Queen will finally begin their epic battle. The chef wants revenge on his foes for tricking him into thinking his commander is dead. Sanji has finally let his guard down, and things are about to become nasty for Queen. As Nami takes centre stage, the rest of the Straw Hats will carry on with their fights as well. Even though Big Mom severely wounded the Animal Kingdom Pirate a few episodes ago, he is eager to return to the fray. The blue-haired woman may be in for a great surprise, but Nami may have one in store for her.
The last showdown between Kid and Big Mom will commence in One Piece episode 1037. The teaser showed that the young man with fiery red hair will not be travelling alone. Law was also present. All we can do is hope that this episode finds time to finally offer us some answers concerning Luffy’s reappearance.
What went down in the last episode?
Chopper’s grief over Luffy’s death opened One Piece episode 1036. The doctor tried to keep his composure, but his sadness prevented him from continuing to fight Queen. Sanji intervened as a robot tried to murder a newborn reindeer. The Straw Hats’ chef assured Chopper that Luffy would emerge victorious in their next battle. Kin’emon, far away, was attempting to prevent Kaido’s attack on Momonosuke. The black-haired swordsman recalled an earlier period when he cared for Momonosuke like a son. Before continuing his pursuit, Kaido impaled the warrior with his own sword. Because of the breathing room, Kin’emon provided, he informed all of Onigashima that Luffy would soon be rejoining the battle.
