The Charlotte family would already have Big Mom’s Vivre Card, which would presumably expire after her passing. Spoilers for One Piece chapter 1064 suggest that Pudding has at least assumed that Big Mom has died. From a storytelling perspective, it actually makes a lot of sense.
Wano Country would still be in peril if there was even a remote possibility that Kaido and Big Mom were still alive. Upon the departure of the Straw Hats, there would be no stopping them from retaking control. Both Emperors are too powerful for Yamato and the Red Scabbards to defend the island against. Having defeated the prior Emperors wouldn’t have been the reason for celebration among the Straw Hats if those individuals could easily return to wreak more problems. It would take a lot to convince Luffy to go without a guarantee that Big Mom and Kaido wouldn’t return. It would make sense if the death of the latter were confirmed in One Piece chapter 1064.
