One Piece Chapter 1062 drops a handful of major surprises after splitting the Straw Hats. The girl who introduces herself as “Dr Vegapunk” explains that she is actually “Punk-02 Lilith The Evil” and not the famous brilliant scientist. Punk-01, Shaka The Good, emerges as Lilith tries to steal the Straw Hats’ valuables and tells her not to. In a later chapter, it is revealed that the famous Dr Vegapunk really divided himself into six satellites called the Punk-0X. Each replica shares some of the original’s intellect and also takes on some of his characteristics.
It is now the CP0’s job to transport a big Kuma-like figure into Egghead and destroy all of Dr Vegapunk’s satellites. In the meanwhile, Luffy and Bonney are chatting. Bonney reveals to Luffy and the gang that she had visited Egghead before when she was a child. She has only come back to the island for this one reason: to question Dr Vegapunk. It is the doctor, after all, who is responsible for the total automation of her father, the erstwhile Warlord Bartholomew Kuma. It is also mentioned briefly in this chapter that Bonney and Sabo first met at Marijoa.
In the opening of Chapter 1063, we see a bloated Luffy, Chopper, and Bonney. The three of them had gorged themselves on Atlas’s newly invented cuisine. When Atlas sees that all four of them are stuffed, he is overjoyed. Jimbei, on the other hand, says that he has always been overweight. Atlas is about to speak to the fish-man, but their Recycollie interrupts them to remind them of their work duties. A procession of mysterious entities approaches Chopper after Atlas leaves. Since Egghead is a research facility, Bonney assumes they are scientists. Jimbei elaborates by saying that, with virtually no one else in the future metropolis, they may have been afraid of them. Luffy finds himself some strange clothing, which he describes as light and breezy, while the others are busy debating their discoveries. Luffy’s friends notice a difference in his attire and wonder where he acquired his new threads. With a casual gesture, Luffy indicates a location adorned with a trendy ad board. Everyone else soon begins buying up the futuristic garments as well.
After getting a new look, Bonney tries to go his own way and leave the Straw Hats. A familiar face, though, causes Luffy to snap out of his daze. It was actually Kuma, dressed as a cop. When he sees the Pacifista trying to give chase, he orders his friends to get going at once. Instead of pursuing them, the Pacifista uses the laser gun in its mouth to fire at them. The Pacifista claims that the pirates’ crimes include stealing clothing and free food. As much as Luffy attempts to reason with the robot, it gives him nothing but silence in return. Luffy chooses to use self-defence as a pretext to strike back against the Pacifista after it shows no indications of halting its attacks. Luffy blows up an arm and throws it at the Pacifista. But before Luffy can attack the Pacifista, Bonney kicks him, and the robot fires another laser cannon at them.
A distraught Luffy confronts Bonney about her behaviour. When Bonney tells the Straw Hats that her father and lone relative is Kuma, they are shocked beyond belief. She then implores them to spare her father’s life. Then, she slouches to the floor and begins to reflect on her past. The enormous robot, though, doesn’t care about how she feels. In the midst of the female pirate’s emotional outburst, the Pacifista fires another laser cannon at her, prompting Luffy to intervene and save her life. Pirates led by Trafalgar Law are under constant attack in a New World sea. They’ve suffered a beating, and now they must rise again. But then something strange happens. It’s not only him; even Law gets confused about which gender to use when giving the order to get ready for a fight. A few of his other crew members have also been attacked in this same way.
Lucky for us, Law’s brief feminine disguise doesn’t last long at all. He uses the knowledge he gained in Wano in conjunction with a tremendous quantity of Haki to overcome the influence of his ability. The proprietor of the Sick-Sick Fruit, known only as “Doc Q,” is disappointed with Law’s achievement. Since he suffers from a feminization condition, he admits, he has been able to cross genders. They are then teleported to the island by Van Augur using the power of his Warp-Warp Fruit. Jesus Burgess wastes no time flaunting his skills after arriving on the island. A mountain is lifted and hurled towards Law and his warriors, courtesy of him using the strength he gained from eating his Strong-Strong Fruit. In order to demolish the mountain Burgess hurled, Law constructs a single enormous chamber. This is the perfect time for Blackbeard to make his entry. He initiates contact by greeting Law and offering a hollow pleasantry.
As soon as Law lays eyes on the cursed Emperor, he demands to know why Blackbeard has shown up on the island they are assuming to be their next destination. It’s all been planned, Blackbeard says. One of the three pirate leaders responsible for the destruction in Wano is likely on his way to that island, he concludes. It so happens that Law is the ship’s captain in this predicament. Blackbeard doesn’t bother disguising the fact that they’re ambushing the Road Ponegliffs in Law in order to take their possessions, either. Law, a powerful captain in One Piece, accepts the villain’s challenge.
