When Arthur claims the Legendary sword is the best weapon ever, Wren takes it as an insult. After hearing Arthur extol the virtues of the legendary sword, he sobers up and tries to shatter it. Arthur begs Wren to not destroy the Legendary sword because of has personal significance to him.
In the midst of Wren’s hesitation, Windsom interrupts to tell him that Arthur has come and is ready to demonstrate his abilities. He mentions the two remaining tasks for Arthur to do and why he has been summoned to do so.
Along with the blade that is most suited to Arthur’s fighting style, Windsom shares Wren’s practical technique of battle. When Arthur inquires as to whether or not Wren has fashioned a sword for him, Wren responds by calling Arthur a brat and stating that he has never manufactured a weapon but has instead created them. He also lets out that he’s just tutoring Arthur because he owes Lord Indra a favour. When Arthur needs a new training sword, Wren conjures up a brown Legendary one. Arthur’s legendary brown sword training begins as he slashes and hacks at the nearby mountains with increasing force.
Wren instructs Arthur on how to call the sword up from the earth. He also explains that during their training in the midst of Barren Crater, they don’t get any sleep. Wren tells Arthur that while he and Windsom will be doing something on the other side, “we” is the word for others who will join the training.
