[Leaked] Spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Preview, Storyline Released Online

Jujutsu Kaisen, a popular Japanese anime series, is returning for a second season. Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen is scheduled to air in 2023. Although the specific air date has not been revealed, the release was confirmed during a Japanese event (H/T Crunchyroll). The possible release windows for 2023 include winter (beginning in January 2023), spring (beginning in April 2023), and fall (starting October 2023). However, a release in the fall of 2023 is most plausible. Anime fans may now feast their eyes on the series’ main images. The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen will centre on manga characters Satoru Gojo, Shoko Ieiri, and Geto Suguru.

The next season will adapt the “Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu” and “Shibuya Incident” arcs and will air for two cours (quarters) for a continuous half-year run. Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen concluded after the Death Painting Arc (chapters 55-64) in the manga. The history of people like Gojo, Natsuyu, and others is shown in the manga and anime Kaiyoku Gyoku Ori. Gojo’s Past is an arc that begins before the end of Season 1. Gojo will be seen attending Jujutsu High School at this period. Chapters 65–79 of the manga will be included in this arc.

According to Games Radar’s speculation, the plot would likely include Gojo and Geto’s task to accompany a Star Plasma Vessel to Tengen. Jujutsu Kaisen author Gege Akutami’s sixth arc, titled “The Shibuya Incident Arc,” spans chapters 79 to 136. It’s a direct sequel to the entirety of the Shibuya Incident that took place on October 31, 2018. As expected, Mahito and Pseudo-union Geto’s of afflicted spirits and curse users move forward with their plan to seal Satoru Gojo.

The main character Yuta Okkotsu’s narrative begins a year before Yuji Itadori’s period. Although we haven’t seen Yuta in the first season, he has been the subject of several references by other characters discussing events from earlier in the series. Yuta was sent to Jujutsu High by Satoru Gojo after being cursed by his childhood buddy Rika. Since she is of the Special Grade, this is no ordinary curse.

And Yuta is at a loss to manage and make use of her formidable might. Meanwhile, Suguru Geto is on a mission to eliminate Yuta Okkotsu, and he has set his sights on Rika to add to the legion of cursed spirits under his command, which will force him to face up against his former best friend and now mortal adversary, Gojo Satoru. Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
