Winners of an Airbnb competition will get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend the night in the infamous witches’ lair in the woods just outside Danvers, Massachusetts. There will be a “special screening” of the upcoming Hocus Pocus 2, as well as the chance to try your hand at some of the spells from the famous spell book, and tours of some of Salem’s most haunted spots. In the words of one of the film’s actors, Kathy Najimy: “What better way to enjoy the season than to welcome guests at the trio’s iconic haunt for a night they’ll remember for years to come?” We wholeheartedly concur with her assessment.
This seems like an amazing way to celebrate Halloween and the release of the long-awaited sequel. Requests for the property will be accepted beginning on October 12 at 1 p.m. ET through the Airbnb listing. The Sanderson Sisters will soon be back with us, as on September 30, Hocus Pocus 2 will make its way to Disney+ for streaming. After the women are brought back to life by a coven of adolescent witches, the younger women get their comeuppance. As the sisters’ malicious wickedness grows, they once again bring chaos to the town of Salem, Massachusetts.
The documentary will also explain to viewers how the Sanderson Sisters first formed their coven. Each of the three witches from the first film—Najimy, Bette Midler, and Sarah Jessica Parker—returns for the sequel, which is directed by Anne Fletcher. All-new cast members Hannah Waddingham, Tony Hale, and Sam Richardson are joined by returning cast members Belissa Escobedo, Whitney Peak, and Lilia Buckingham as the three teenagers who unearth the witches from their tombs.
Doug Jones, who played Billy Butcherson in the 1993 film, will be rising from the grave to make an appearance. If you want to stay at the Sanderson Sisters’ cottage once it goes on the market on October 12, you’d better start casting charms and reciting incantations.
