Boulet Brothers Dracmorda and Swanthula are working hard to grow their business with Shudder and AMC so that they may give their viewers a taste of more of their wonderfully twisted world. The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans is an upcoming spinoff series of their reality competition show Dragula that brings back fan favourites from previous seasons. In anticipation of Titans’ launch, the Boulet Brothers have released a fresh new cast trailer, in which the monsters that will eventually rise to power on the programme are introduced.
Months after it was announced that Dragula will return for Season 5, the wicked team surprised and pleased viewers by announcing that they had signed a contract with AMC and Shudder to make sure the show would continue. When Titans was announced, fans knew that Dragula would be dragged into a new circle of hell for the duration of the 10-episode series, but they had no idea who would be subjected to the whole glam spectrum. Before embarking on a world tour, these monsters will compete in the brand-new spinoff for the first-ever Dragula: Titans Supermonster title and a grand prize of $100,000.
Now that the Boulet Brothers’ tease of startling twists and a new structure, plus the return of 10 of our favourite established performers, has been delivered, we can take our first bite. After making the formal announcement with Entertainment Weekly, in which profiles were supplied for each returning contender, the hosts published a short clip on Twitter to showcase the first slate of monsters to appear on Titans.
Dracmorda and Swanthula, attired in their normal finery of nightmare fashion, ushered in a minute of thrilling new looks from the animals, monsters, and queens from the previous four seasons who would be vying for the throne. Koco Caine, a “drag shape-shifter,” from Season 4; Victoria Elizabeth Black, a “glam monster” from Season 2 and The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula Resurrection; Erika Klash, a “demonic glitch-zombie” from Season 2 who specialises in anime; “Trisha Paytas of the underworld” from Season 3; HoSo Terra Toma, a “kaiju monster” from Season 4; Yovska, Horror is at the heart of the drag world created by the Boulet Brothers.
When it comes to Dragula, the competition isn’t limited to the designs, makeup, and performance provided on the runway. Not only are they competing for the crown of a queen, but also for the Supermonster, which personifies the ugliness and otherworldliness that Dragula represents. Titans will push us all to the next level with their horrific executions, which will test their limitations and force them to demonstrate mental and physical strength. The first two episodes of the Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans were broadcast on Shudder on October 25. The following episodes will be made available on Shudder and AMC+ every week.
