‘The Santa Clauses’ co-stars Tim Allen’s daughter, Synopsis, Release Date & Cast Details

Elizabeth Allen-Dick, Tim Allen’s biological daughter, will play Scott Calvin’s daughter Sandra in the upcoming film The Santa Clauses. Allen spoke with Entertainment Weekly about his experience collaborating with his daughter on the upcoming Disney+ series.
Allen’s original plan had been to have his daughter work as a helper elf for Santa at the North Pole. “But when she was reading for that, she read so beautifully that they said, ‘We’d want to read her for more of a part,'” explained Allen. “Whatever you want to do, I said. As for me, I really don’t care either way. No, I have no intention of submitting my daughter for consideration for a role in the [series]. However, she eventually rose to the highest positions. Since she plays a 13-year-old girl in real life, her reading was met with considerable acclaim. She was ultimately chosen to play Santa’s daughter. It came as a shock, but it ended up being the most incredible adventure of my life.” Sandra’s birth occurred after the climax of the third film in The Santa Clause franchise.

Scott’s eldest son Charlie (Eric Lloyd) played a significant part in the first two movies. After the previous Santa falls off his roof and breaks his leg, Charlie persuades Scott to put on the Santa costume and deliver the Christmas presents in the original 1994 film. Charlie is the only character in the film that has faith in his father becoming Santa Claus. Scott worries about Charlie in the sequel The Santa Clause 2 from 2002 after he gets included on the naughty list. The head of Charlie’s school, Carol Newman (Elizabeth Mitchell), becomes his wife as a result of his becoming close to her.

Scott’s second kid, named Buddy, was born at the conclusion of The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, released in 2006. Austin Kane will portray Buddy in The Santa Clauses. Scott, the father of four, decides to resign from his role as Santa in The Santa Clauses so that his two youngest children can have a more “normal” childhood. Scott spends the entirety of the series searching for a suitable successor to assume the role of Santa Claus. While chatting to Entertainment Weekly, Allen also talked about Sandra’s role in the series, and what it was like to have his daughter play the character. “I don’t want to give too much away, but she doesn’t want to go,” stated Allen. “So I tell her, ‘Being terrified is good as long as we can be afraid together.’ Even speaking the words, I feel a bit choked up. I glanced directly at her. One of my photographer’s pals was shooting and claimed it was tear-jerking to see. My response was simply, “Well, I’m gazing at my baby.”
On November 16th, Disney+ will launch with the debut of The Santa Clauses. The whole original film trilogy may be seen in its entirety on the platform.
