When was the last episode, and what did happen?
In the opening minutes of Boruto episode 266, Kawaki and his classmates were shown rehearsing for the next school play. Himawari, disguised as Minato, failed to bring the phoney band she was supposed to wear, and her brother offered her his instead. It may potentially disclose his Shinobi status, so she ordered Kawaki to conceal it immediately.
Unfortunately, Eiki caught on and attempted to ruin Kawaki’s secret. In the following days, Eiki did all in his power to show that Kawaki was a Shinobi in disguise, posing as a student. Unfortunately, his last attempt ruined the set his buddies had laboriously built. At the end of the episode, Kawaki saves Kae from an assassin hired by the Minister of her nation, who wants the princess dead so that her brother can take her place on the throne.
As the Academy arc’s true antagonists have been exposed, Kae faces greater peril than ever in Boruto episode 268. Before last week’s episode, viewers had no idea who the series’ major antagonist would be in this arc. Thankfully, not only do we know who is behind the princess, but we also know why. While the major danger of the arc was exposed last week, viewers watched Kawaki struggle to conceal his Shinobi identity from Kae. Kawaki takes care of Kae in Boruto episode 268 as his class gets ready for the festival of the same name at the Academy. The release of this episode is soon, so keep reading to find out more.

In Episode 268 of Boruto, what can we anticipate seeing?
Fans now know that Kae is being harassed by the Minister of her own kingdom, therefore the arc will likely go more into this theme. Worried Himawari may be seen in the trailer for Boruto episode 268 talking to Kawaki. The Uzumaki siblings could be attempting to figure out how to keep the princess safe without letting her know what’s going on. However, several beloved characters from previous seasons will be making a comeback appearance, so it’s not all bad news for this next episode.
Characters from the new generation of Shinobi, including Team 7, Inojin, and many more, will make return appearances. Kawaki’s classmates worked very hard on the school festival, and they will be the ones who benefit from it. The play the youngsters were rehearsing for in the last episode, depicting the lives of the renowned Sanin, will also be performed for fans. During last week’s rehearsals, we learned that the performance will centre on the instant when Orochimaru betrayed Konoha and fled the town.
