The next episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will air, and it will be named “The Targeted School Festival.” The titles of the next several episodes hint that the Himawari-Kawaki Ninja Academy arc may be drawing to a close. Some folks had brought homemade headbands or something to put on their foreheads. No one has time to waste since they all have to train. Episode 267 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is titled “Kawaki’s Cover Blown?! “, and features a classroom reenactment of the founding of Leaf Village. Himawari represents her grandpa, Minato, while Kawaki plays Katsuyu, Kae plays Tsunade, and Ehou plays Jiraiya.
Kawaki and Kae have a heart-to-heart regarding the play behind the scenes, and Kae shares that the realisation that Orochimaru couldn’t make her friends stay by her side forever has left her wanting that very thing.
Because of learning the truth about Kawaki’s headband, Eiki messes up on stage. Kawaki comes to the rescue once again. Osuka recovers his lost headband as his classmates help restore the entire room. Later, Eiki says he’s sorry and explains that he received a letter explaining who Kawaki is. Kawaki rushes to Kae on the same day an assassin is set to kill her. Kae’s younger brother, rather than herself, is the intended victim.
