Set to debut on Hulu in November, ‘Fleishman Is In Trouble’ is from FX

The debut date of Fleishman Is In Trouble, a new limited series from FX, is set for November 17 on Hulu. The first two episodes will air as part of the launch, and each consecutive Thursday will provide a new episode for a total of eight. The programme will debut on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in all other markets outside the United States under the Star brand. Jesse Eisenberg, Claire Danes, and Lizzy Caplan feature in the limited series adapted on Taffy Brodesser-best-selling Akner’s novel of the same name.

In Fleishman Is In Trouble, Eisenberg plays Dr Toby Fleishman, a 41-year-old divorcee who, to his surprise, has a lot of luck utilising dating apps to locate a new partner after the breakup. Toby’s ex-wife Rachel (Danes) disappears without a trace, leaving him in charge of their two children and the promise of flings with every eligible woman Manhattan has to offer. Toby has to deal with his kids, the probable promotion at work, the mystery of what happened to Rachel, and the return of two old pals (Caplan and Adam Brody) during the summer he had planned to spend enjoying sexual freedom.

The only way Toby can find out what happened to his ex-wife is to examine what went wrong in their marriage from the beginning. Brodesser-Akner created and wrote the script for the TV show based on her novel. And like Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, and Susannah Grant, she also serves as an executive producer. Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, the creators of Little Miss Sunshine, direct episodes and act as executive producers for the show. Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini not only work as executive producers but also direct many episodes. The series also stars Juani Feliz, Michael Gaston, Joy Suprano, Michael Gaston, Meara Mahoney Gross, and Maxim Jasper Swinton.
Eisenberg, who has portrayed a youthful slacker in films like The Squid and the Whale, Adventureland, and Zombieland, seems like a good fit for this part.

Eisenberg has played a variety of parts in critically praised films like The Social Network, Now You See Me, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Eisenberg’s next cinematic projects include Manodrome, The Medusa, and A Real Pain. The debut of Fleishman Is In Trouble’s first two episodes will take place on Hulu on November 17. A trailer is expected to arrive sooner rather than later, given that the premiere is less than two months away.
