What Comes Next, After the Final Chapter Just around the bend in Chapter 161 lies Arthur’s final battle to free Dicathen from the Vritra army. In the next episode, a new Asura will begin instructing Arthur on how to use both his magical and martial abilities simultaneously. The fact that he doesn’t appear to be as soft and kind as Myre will make his training more challenging. At first glance, Myre’s role as a healer may have looked unremarkable, but as she begins to impart her extensive knowledge of Realmheart and the nature of Mana and Aether, her true value as a character becomes apparent.
Now in the next chapter, she shows off her fighting prowess, and Arthur learns (through having to kneel to her) that Myre is more powerful than Windsom. Summary of Previous Chapter
Before, Myre ordered Arthur to cast every spell he knew at full power on her. But before he could act, Myre had already correctly foreseen his next action. He tries again, and this time, in Myre’s estimation, he will break the earth beneath her feet. After witnessing how well she predicts the assaults, Arthur expresses amazement, but she reassures him that he possesses a similar talent and simply needs practice. Several weeks pass as Arthur keeps training with Myre. He begs Myre, who has been mending him since the training, whether she could create him a new pair of legs since he had to have the ones he had chopped off.
She says that if she used too much Aether to cure him, she would have to sacrifice another person’s life to do it. When Arthur questions if he ought to have picked up these tactics by now, Myre explains that it’s not simple to defend against strikes before they even materialise. Arthur gives it another go, and this time he’s able to anticipate all of her moves with ease. While Arthur is busy evading Myre’s Wind Bullet, Earth Spike, and Blast Flare attacks, Windsom appears and informs him it’s time to leave.
The fact that Arthur is taken aback by the necessity to bow before Myre is indicative of her formidable might. As they leave, Arthur inquires as to Myre’s true identity, but Windsom resolves to keep it a secret. As soon as they get there, Arthur’s new guide will greet them. From the edge of the cliff, he reaches out a hand and greets him.
