Nick Frost and Lena Headey will play a married pair for the second time after portraying one in the film Fighting with My Family. A comedy/thriller called Svalta, created by Frost himself will feature the duo. In Svalta, Frost and Headey’s characters are a married couple taking their kids on a holiday to a small Swedish island. However, the family quickly realises that a serial murderer is on the island and is targeting them specifically. They have no choice but to pull together as a family in order to make it, as the islanders have all refused to aid them.
Heady has been nominated for five Emmys. As Cersei Lannister on “Game of Thrones,” she became famous for playing a villain whom viewers loved to detest. She has a significant fan base for her work on films and TV shows like 300 and Dredd and series like Infinity Train. Up next, she’ll star in The White House Plumbers, HBO’s forthcoming Watergate drama. Frost is most recognised for his hilarious roles in the Edgar Wright films Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and At World’s End, where he co-starred in alongside fellow actor Simon Pegg.
These days, you may see him in episodes of shows like Why Women Kill and The Nevers.
Frost made a public statement on the Svalta and the decision to make Headey his wife, saying: Put a nice English family on a vacation with a bunch of crazy Swedes. Simple As a rule, May is not a month for Nuts. Added Madness to the Chaos. The experience of filming Fighting with My Family with Lena made me realise that I wouldn’t want anyone else to play Susan. I was ecstatic when I found that she had not only read the script but also agreed to reprise her role as my on-screen wife. Paul, a 2011 Alien comedy, and Prime Video’s Truth Seekers, a comedy series, both use Frost’s screenplay.
Dutch directors Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil will helm the movie. American audiences may be unfamiliar with the names, yet their films have done well at the Dutch box office. Additionally, they got their start in the Dutch comic group “New Kids”, so they will undoubtedly feel right at home with a script written by Frost. Frost will also be producing the picture with Wayward Entertainment, Resolute Films, Film Service Finland, and XYZ Films. The production of Svalta will begin in Finland sometime in 2019.
