A lot of fun stuff happens in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 73, which was recently released. The manga continued from the previous chapter, with Team 7 as the main character. Being the excellent strategist that he is, Shikamaru devised a solution to the problem at hand. As an added bonus, a crucial piece of information was disclosed in the last panels of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which has everyone buzzing. After losing his Rinnegan to Momoshiki, Sasuke’s skills are unknown, but the most recent chapter may have given us a peek of their scope.

New Objective for Team 7
After realising that only Team 7 could complete a certain assignment, Shikamaru immediately contacted everyone in the group. Even though he was eager to get started, the protagonist found that his goal was quite different from what he had anticipated. Eida was a major factor in the decision to assemble Team 7. Amado performed a fantastic job of bargaining with Eida and severing links between her and Daemon and Code.
Even after having his restrictions lifted, Code’s strength level was still much behind Daemon’s, highlighting the vast gulf in their respective combat prowess. The only problem was, we knew two of the strongest characters in the world were going to Konohagakure. Eida had love feelings for Kawaki and was eager to learn more about him. All of Team 7 was thrown off by this revelation, which came up during the mission briefing. Shikamaru made it clear that the safety of the community depends on how Kawaki reacts to Eida’s approaches.
After Shikamaru explained why he sent Boruto and Kawaki on this trip, Sarada understood that they were conducting surveillance. Eida’s power to charm people would not work on them because they are Otsutsukis.
Powers exclusive to Sasuke
Even though just one panel was dedicated to it, this is often considered to be the most interesting portion of the chapter among readers. The full extent to which Sasuke’s Rinnegan skills were shattered by Momoshiki has been the subject of much discussion. The most recent panel included a conversation between Naruto and Sasuke on the roof of the Hokage’s office about the assignment that Team 7 is currently working on. Sasuke had almost finished speaking when he abruptly turned around and said “Here’s the thing: this sensation… It’s very much like that day. How come…” Sasuke utilised his Rinnegan powers to listen to Momoshiki when he first talked to Boruto and froze time and space. Sasuke seems to have alluded to that period in this recent chapter.
This chapter proved that he had been right all along about being able to feel Momoshiki nearby. Given this, it’s safe to assume that Sasuke didn’t completely lose his Rinnegan powers. Although it hasn’t been explicitly stated, it’s possible that the lingering Rinnegan chakra is what allowed Sasuke to use some of his Rinnegan skills. Boruto’s strength, despite losing one of the series’ most potent eyes, is intriguing, yet the manga has just hinted at it.
