After Otama was injured by the blue-haired lady, Nami retaliated by attacking Ulti. To begin One Piece episode 1033, Sanji fought against Kaido’s troops while still carrying Zoro. The kitchen staff member aboard the Straw Hat was quite dissatisfied with his current circumstances. As he stewed in his anger, he recalled how he had been invested in Zoro’s rehabilitation in the first place. Sanji’s mind started wandering back to the time when he was desperately searching Onigashima for Yamato and Shinobu. While fleeing, he came into Kid, who was engaged in combat with grunts from the Animal Kingdom Pirates.
Kid used his Devil Fruit powers to steal all the metal from his enemies and forge it into a monstrous weapon with which he intended to assault Big Mom. The kid’s presence within the castle perplexed Sanji until Trafalgar and Zoro piled on top of him. The blonde man demanded an explanation from Law as to how the gang had suddenly materialised on top of him. Instead of explaining what had happened, Trafalgar just urged Sanji to tend to Zoro’s critical wounds. Sanji had Zoro help a wounded buddy. The man with the green hair filled his companion in on what went down during the battle against the Emperors.
Sanji’s memory was interrupted by an assault from two of Kaido’s soldiers. Soon after their rapid loss, Sanji ran upon Izo and Kawamatsu, who decided to tag along on his journey. The Scabbards assured Sanji that Kin’emon would handle finding Momonosuke when he told them his whereabouts. The party decided to visit the Live Floor at Zoro’s suggestion.
Episode 1033 of One Piece picked up on the rooftop of Onigashima, where Luffy was continuing to pound Kaido with all his might.
The captain of the Straw Hats was nevertheless easily defeated by the Emperor, who threw him off the edge of the castle. Kaido informed Luffy that he was really fortunate since he still got pumped up about taking on an opponent who was more powerful than him. Not responding to Kaido, the black-haired pirate charged up a Gum-Gum Red Roc to once again pound the Yonko. Kaido was the first to land a blow, sending Luffy flying once more. The Emperor scolded his rival, urging him to stop fighting. To Kaido’s mind, it was still possible for him to assassinate Momonosuke and seize control of the Land of Wano. In another attempt to defeat the monster guy, Luffy was once again thwarted by Kaido’s might. Forcing himself to his feet this time, the Straw Hat captain vowed to protect Momonosuke, free the land of Wano, and ascend to the position of King of the Pirates. After that, Nami was shown in One Piece episode 1033 standing over a supposedly unconscious Ulti. Usopp advised the young woman with the fiery mane to flee from the dinosaur woman, warning that she may awaken at any second.
Nami was firm in her stance, saying that running was not an option because Ulti would only follow them. Since the Straw Hat navigator knew Ulti was awake, she commanded her opponent to rise and shine. The blue-haired pirate stood up, and her minions made fun of Nami for being weak. The pilot’s use of the Tornado Tempo caught her foes by surprise and sent them scattering. Sadly, Ulti was able to avoid the blow and seize Nami by the arms. The Pirate from the Animal Kingdom was still making fun of Luffy’s aspirations to become King of the Pirates, Nami, and Usopp. Still standing behind the two ladies, Big Mom questioned Ulti furiously whether she knew what she had done was wrong by hitting Otama. Big Mom became increasingly enraged as the woman with the blue hair mocked the girl. The Yonko gave the command for her Homies Napoleon, Prometheus, and Hera to join forces and build a gigantic weapon.
Big Mom used her new weapon to quickly and easily dispatch Ulti. In the following scene from Episode 1033 of One Piece, Zeus witnesses his former team members insulting and berating him. Hera, the newest addition to Big Mom’s team, teased her predecessor for being so ineffective at her job. While his old pals spoke ill of him, poor Homie was forced to listen from a hidden corner and eventually broke down in tears. Nami ran past Zeus on her way to locate a doctor who could help Otama after she began jogging with Usopp. In his mind, the Homie might finally reunite with Nami after all these years. However, the young woman paid little attention to the sentient cloud because he had before attempted murder.
Big Mom caught a glimpse of Zeus out of the corner of her eye and walked over to the Homie to have a chat. The cloud creature put up a good show for the Yonko, even offering an explanation for the delay.
Zeus expressed his delight to his maker at the prospect of a new teammate, but Big Mom promptly expelled him. In episode 1033 of One Piece, we returned to the rooftop of Onigashima to see Kaido continuing to pummel Luffy. The kid was getting more and more tired of trying to keep up with the Emperor. However, Luffy continued to assault the Yonko until he was thrown into a rock pile. Kaido took advantage of the immobilised Straw Hat captain to ridicule him and strike him repeatedly over the head with the kanabo. With Luffy seemingly dead after three blows, the Emperor gave up his assault. He hadn’t expected the young pirate to get up and start smiling again. Feeling revitalised, Luffy renewed his assault on Kaido, this time keeping up with the Emperor. Luffy suddenly vanished from the battlefield before the last showdown between the combatants.
After resuming his human form, Kaido voiced his dissatisfaction with Luffy. The Straw Hat captain plunged down the castle cliff and into the ocean at the end of One Piece episode 1033. The surviving Straw Hat Pirates and the battles they are now engaged in will be the major subject of next week’s episode. Luffy doesn’t appear to have a major role in the next events of the anime series, which might imply that the creators are gearing up for a major reveal.
