Overlord Season 4 Episode 10 Recap:
The crimson hero’s armour seems familiar to Ainz; he thinks it comes from Yggdrasil. Now that the Floor Guardians know what Ainz is up to, Demiurge wants to dispatch additional soldiers to wipe out the entire town. When Ainz recalls his conversation with Pestonya, he informs the Floor Guardians about the little adjustment. Ainz declares they would bypass all the towns on their route to the royal capital and attack it head-on. Princess Renner is now in conversation with Prince Zanac. The activities of the Sorcerer Kingdom are discussed, and they are appropriately analysed. Zanac insists they can’t back down now and start fighting. The Drop of Red and the Blue Roses also have a meeting with the Black Scripture, a theocratic elite party.
They said they are on the lookout for volunteers to assist them in battle Ainz. Lakyus politely refuses the offer to join them. Azuth, in the meantime, claims he’d rather take on Ainz singlehandedly. Zanac and Ainz have a pre-battle meeting. He wants to know why Ainz won’t accept the surrender offer from his kingdom. Ainz states that he is demonstrating the futility of opposing the Sorcerer Realm by using Zanac’s kingdom as an example. Zanac questions Ainz’s motivations, pointing out that there are alternative methods to achieve his goal. Also, he inquires as to Ainz’s ultimate objective, to which the latter responds that all he wants is to be happy. Despite Ainz’s refusal to accept their surrender, Zanac can see why he did so. Ainz also interrogates Zanac.
He learns that Brain is now keeping Gazef’s weapon. Ainz tells Zanac he may use any magic he wants to wipe out his army after knowing that Brain isn’t present on the battlefield. Zanac begs Ainz to cast a spell that will end his people’s suffering quickly. Since they’ve become friends, Ainz agrees to execute him gently. He goes back to the camp and informs the people there that Ainz intends to wipe them all out. Zanac refuses to accept their surrender pleas, insisting that they must instead focus on defeating Ainz if they are to have any hope of surviving.
Several of the nobility implore Ainz to spare them and their families. They give him Zanac’s severed head. Ainz listens to their pleading and orders Albedo to take them to Dr Neuronist. He instructs Aura to relay to Neuronist that she should spare their lives until they specifically want it. However, he does say that they shouldn’t be killed off too rapidly. Meanwhile, Cocytus and Mare have been appointed commander and vice-commander by Ainz. He permits them to kill everyone and everyone they choose.
