One Piece Chapter 1059 Raw Scans
One Piece Chapter 1059, “The Captain Koby Incident,” is, as its name suggests, mostly concerned with Koby and his quest to apprehend the former Warlord “Bao Hancock,” the pirate empress who was featured before the Wano arc began. On the front page of Chapter 1059 of One Piece, Oven and Katukari are shown punching each other in a delusion brought on by Ceaser’s gas as they prepare to continue fighting against Germa’s invasion.
Yamato, the Straw Hats, Marco, and the Red-Haired Pirates
In this first part of the chapter, Marco disembarks from the ship of the Red-Haired Pirates on Sphinx Island (Whiterbeard’s Hometown) and expresses his gratitude for the journey. While Shanks is adamant about having him join the crew of his ship, Marco has told him to grow up and quit treating him like a kid. Luffy, like us, is astonished to learn that Yamato won’t be coming along on their journey, but she explains that neither of them would feel at peace if they left Wano together and that if an outside force like Amajaki were to reappear, there would be no one to guard it. To this, Luffy assents, announcing that he would be entrusting Yamato with Wano’s care.
Marco has also arrived and informed Luffy that a ship is nearing that can take him to safety. Marco tells Luffy that Ace would be proud of him and that he has come a long way since he saved Luffy’s life at Ace’s execution. As he departs the Island, he tells the young people there that the future is in their control. There was an incident involving an Amazon lily, Boa Hancock, Blackbeard, Koby, Marines, and Rayleigh. The chapter’s primary focus shifts to the wrecked Amazon Lily Island, where Bao Hancock claims nothing bad would have happened in her absence. Apparently, she thinks she and Luffy should tie the knot. The Marines, led by Koby and Vice Admiral Yamakaji, infiltrate the Amazon Lily in a flashback set on the same island a few weeks earlier.
The new Pacifista “Seraphin’s,” who resemble models of toddlers with white hair and brown complexion, has been ordered into action by the Vice Admiral. The Pacifists look like a cross between a young Mihawk and Boa Hancock. At the same time as the Marines are infiltrating the island, Blackbeard’s pirates are sneaking in, and Blackbeard vows that he won’t allow the Marines to get their hands on Hancock’s abilities. Koby is adamant that Hancock and the Marines come in stealthily to put a halt to the infiltration and then leave the island.
Most of the Marines and the Blackbeards pirates are rejected by Hancock, and he transforms them into stones. Blackbeard barely grabs Hancock and uses his abilities to prevent her from eating her demon fruit while also revealing their new loot.
Hancock claims that everyone who has turned to stone will remain so if he murders her. Blackbeard is hesitant to let her undo the items and instead turns to Koby for guidance on what to do. He also calls Koby “Hero” and expresses gratitude for the help that Koby provided in deposing Ochuko as Pirate Island’s ruler. When Rayleigh shows there, he orders Hancock to undo everything, promising to see to it that the Marines and the Blackbeard Pirates leave the island. During a chat in the current day with Hancock and the others, Rayleigh, Shakukyaku, the former empress of the Amazon Lily Island and the Captain of the Kuja Pirates, reveals her true identity. If it weren’t for his fame, argues Rayleigh, he wouldn’t have had a chance against Blackbeard. They report to Headquarters that Captain Koby has been kidnapped by Blackbeard and that their whereabouts are unknown (final panel).
