A live IMAX screening of the highly anticipated Don’t Worry Darling has been confirmed for New York City. Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll, and Sydney Chandler appeared in the picture, which made its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival and was directed by Olivia Wilde. Some of the actors will soon fly to New York City to participate in a live Q&A at the AMC theatre on Lincoln Square.
Kate Berlant, Asif Ali, and Douglas Smith will also be in attendance, as will the aforementioned Styles, Chan, Kroll, and Chandler. Neither Pine nor Pugh will be present. The Q&A is being webcast to more than a hundred IMAX cinemas throughout North America, and tickets go on sale on September 7. Thus, even if you aren’t physically present, you may still benefit from the event’s atmosphere. On Monday, September 19 at 7:30 pm EST/4:30 pm PST, TCM presenter and Entertainment Weekly contributor Dave Karger will host a special fan-first screening of the film followed by a Q&A with audience members. The New York premiere of this film is expected to sell out quickly.
The film’s debut and the rumours surrounding its production have generated considerable buzz. With the film’s release, audiences can watch Styles in the lead role of Jack and celebrate Pugh’s formidable performance as Alice. It’s a mystery how much of a psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling is. We visit the town of Victory, where the men go off with Frank (Pine) and the women look to be living the Stepford lifestyle.
In the trailers, Alice (Pugh) appears to fight back against this, and Wilde has mentioned that this is a picture about power and the relationships inside, so it will be interesting to watch how people respond to the film once it has a wider release. The prospect of a post-screening Q&A with the performers is enough to get me to watch Don’t Worry, Darling. Here you may purchase tickets to the IMAX screening and Q&A of Don’t Worry, Darling.
For further information on Don’t Worry Darling, please visit: Having the opportunity to live in Victory, the experimental business town that is home to the men and their families who work on the top-secret Victory Project, is a blessing for Alice (Florentine Pugh) and Jack Chambers (Harry Styles). Basically, everyone’s wants are covered by the corporation, and life is ideal. All they want in exchange is that you support the Victory cause without a doubt. After seeing glimpses of something far worse hiding underneath the pleasant exterior, Alice begins to wonder why they’re even staying in Victory. How much does Alice stand to lose if she reveals what’s actually happening in paradise? Olivia Wilde helms Don’t Worry Darling, which she also produced alongside Katie Silberman, Miri Yoon, and Roy Lee. The plot for the film was written by Carey Van Dyke and Shane Van Dyke, and Silberman adapted their work for the screen. Richard Brener, Celia Khong, Alex G. Scott, Catherine Hardwicke, Carey Van Dyke, and Shane Van Dyke are the show’s executive producers.
