Exactly what transpired the last time? WARNING: Major Reveal Ahead
Bakugo’s heart was broken by Shigaraki, and the rest of the heroes thought he was gone for good after reading Chapter 363 of My Hero Academia. Todoroki’s battle with Dabi and Skeptic’s attempt to break into All Might’s servers were both major plot points. In the prologue to Chapter 364 of My Hero Academia, we get a flashback to when the Doctor was looking into Shie Hassaikai’s Quirk Erasing Bullets. The guy discovered how to deconstruct them so that they functioned like Eri’s original Quirk.
He managed to condense all of Eri’s abilities into a single bullet and use it to save AFO’s life. When they returned to the present, AFO made fun of Endeavor by saying he was surprised that Enji was the one who pushed him to his limits. Because of the gunshot, the Doctor left him, the villain’s body began reverting back to its original state. Tokoyami, who was still in the air with Jiro, recognised Eri’s Quirk and was horrified by the prospect of AFO possessing it. AFO’s rejuvenated youth allowed him to steal additional Quirks and disguise himself in clothing in a matter of seconds.
The villain told the heroes that he was comfortable with Eri’s Quirk destroying his body because he had already given Shigaraki his desire. AFO told Hawks that his goal in life was to ruin humanity’s prospects for the future. In the United States of America, My Hero Academia Chapter 364 continues. The president of the United States and his advisors discussed a course of action while their country was in anarchy. After learning that Shigaraki was too much for mankind as a whole, the president decided to try to soothe him rather than fight.
Agpar grew enraged at the president when he claimed this would do nothing to stop Shigaraki from ruining their nation. The president of the United States disregarded the advice of the military chief because, he said, the general was only attempting to save lives.
Agpar pulled a picture of a young Star and Stripe with All Might out of his pocket. The president was questioned by the commander on why he thought Star had done all in her power to protect the United States from an unbeatable foe like Shigaraki. Like All Might, Star gave her life so that future generations would have reason to believe.
Every hero who has ever battled for justice, according to Agpar, has done so for this reason. In the following scene from My Hero Academia Chapter 364, we see Edgeshot approaching Bakugo and Best Jeanist. The Ninja Hero had extensive expertise infiltrating human bodies because of his unique ability. Edgeshot yelled at Mirko with his last bit of strength, telling him to keep fighting no matter what. The ninja’s comments were useless, Shigaraki said in mockery. Edgeshot kept talking, and his audience was clearly moved.
The Ninja Hero walked up to Bakugo and began spinning his flesh into thread.
Best Jeanist, who was in sync with Edgeshot’s every thought, warned his old buddy that there was no turning back. Edgeshot informed his pals that he knew, and encouraged his former club president to keep competing. The revelation that Edgeshot will replace Bakugo’s heart came at the end of My Hero Academia chapter 364. As readers of Horikoshi’s manga know all too well, the heroes have been at a loss for some time when it comes to defeating the bad guys. While Chapter 364 of My Hero Academia did not reverse this tendency, it did lay the groundwork for a future episode to finally reverse it.
By rescuing Bakugo, the franchise’s unofficial mascot, Edgeshot may be suggesting that the Heroes are on the verge of making a comeback. It was also revealed in this episode that, outside of Japan, Shigaraki strikes fear into the hearts of many. All save the mightiest nations on Earth are petrified of the villain’s fury. And yet, Heroes are still ready to risk their lives to protect those who rely on them and the generations to come. In the last pages of the chapter, this final subject matter played a crucial role.
If it means that a younger Hero can survive, Edgeshot is prepared to give up his own life. This goal stands in stark contrast to AFO’s fantasy of ruining the future for everyone. In all, the chapter was a lot of fun and a lot of interesting, and it introduced a lot of interesting ideas that will undoubtedly be expanded upon in subsequent ones. Edgeshot is making a last-ditch effort to save Bakugo, but whether or not he will be successful is still unknown to fans. They will have to wait another week to find out.
