The Granolah Arc of the Dragon Ball Super manga has been running since Chapter 67, and next week will see the publication of Chapter 86. The conflict between the Saiyans and the Gas continues in this chapter as part of the Granolah Arc. Fans have been complaining that this arc has gone on for too long and is too complicated because of all the many narratives going on at once. After the events of the most recent issue (Chapter 86) and the subsequent leak of DBS Chapter 87, it now appears that the war and this arc are not yet over.
Since the whole narrative and even some artwork from the manga have been leaked, you should only continue reading if you don’t mind major spoilers. The following is a storyline description of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 87, “The Greatest in the Universe Revealed,” courtesy of @DBSHype. Warning: this paragraph contains several spoilers. In addition, below are several pages that were sent in draught form by @DBSChronicles. At the start of this chapter, Goku and Vegeta are rather discontents with the manner in which they prevailed. Vegeta claims he will continue to improve his skills until he once again outperforms Goku.
And then Granolah collapses on the floor, coughing. Vegeta wonders, “Did you apply some unsafe technique?” and Granolah confirms their fears. He claims that his life expectancy has dropped even further, and Goku has no idea what he means. Then, Granolah reveals that the three years are all he has left since that’s the deal he made to become the most powerful. Goku remarks that he engages in some really risky behaviour, prompting Vegeta to inquire if or not Gas engaged in the same.
Granolah replies that this was likely the case. Monaito suddenly appears astonished and requests to get a look at him. When Goku inquires as to why he is told that it has nothing to do with the little amount of time he has left and that Monaito has the potential to heal him totally. Granolah is dumbfounded as he releases an aura. It’s the same thing he performs to Goku and Vegeta, and it gives them new life. Monaito claims that the sudden success of this strategy is due to the overuse of his abilities.
After all, Elek argues, if that’s not intended to happen, then perhaps he was the naive one for thinking the dragon balls would actually make him the strongest of them all. As he packed up to depart, Goku asked whether he was leaving his brother behind. Suddenly, a laser stabs into Monaito’s chest when Elek states he doesn’t give a hoot about trashes.
Dragon Ball Super closes with chapter 87, which does “not” necessarily conclude the Granolah arc.
However, the following concerns may serve as a conclusion to the Granolah Arc.
