After the Obon holiday, fans will be greeted with the return of Jujutsu Kaisen with the much anticipated (and rather terrifying) chapter 194. Maki Zen’in is the topic at hand, and following the events of the last chapter, her survival is in doubt, and so are her abilities. The problem of Naoya Zen’in and his new Cursed Spirit form, however, has been further muddled by Akutami. T
he final chapter revealed that Naoya’s Cursed Technique had developed, although it did not reveal how or what this evolution included. I’m hoping that things improve by the time we get to chapter 194 of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Maki’s present situation should be revealed in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 194. After a publishing hiatus in Japan for the Obon Festival, the English translation of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 194 is scheduled to be released on Sunday, August 21, at the following times throughout the world:

Recap of Chapter 193
Chapter 193 of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled “Sakurajima Colony (part 3),” reveals that Noritoshi used his Blood Manipulation method to survive Naoya’s onslaught. While Maki rushed in for the murder, he attempted to immobilise Naoya with Flowing Red Scale, but the Curse was able to avoid the blow.
Maki briefed Noritoshi about Naoya’s condition as the Curse employed his tried-and-true Cursed Technique, which involved freezing the air and causing it to burst. As fast as he could, Naoya sped away from the two, eventually turning around to climb even higher. Once Naoya exceeded the speed of sound, Maki said, he would launch an attack.
They were getting ready to attack as a unit and were waiting for Naoya to make the first move. On the other hand, Naoya charged toward them at Mach 3 (three times the speed of sound, 3704.4 km or 2301.81 mph), knocking Maki to the ground. This chapter shows how Naoya’s new Cursed body pulled air via the inlets while he raced about. He then accelerated to Mach 3 by combining the air pressure with his Cursed Energy and expelling it out of his eye sockets. At the chapter’s finale, Naoya is still puzzled over how Maki managed to defeat him in the first place.
Predictions for Chapter 194 of Jujutsu Kaisen
Despite widespread optimism among fans that Maki has been saved, the fate of the protagonist will be decided in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 194. Character deaths often come out of nowhere in Akutami, therefore the culling game is designed to deal with that. Although Maki’s story is just halfway through, she still has a long way to go before reaching her full potential.
Akutami is not the kind to make a fatal error like killing her off now. However, Naoya’s present abilities and the specifics of his Cursed Technique remain a mystery. After undergoing the Cursed Womb’s transformation, Naoya now appears to be in his last, most powerful form. If Akutami is successful in eliminating Maki, then the battle will come down to Naoya and Noritoshi. Although it’s an intriguing pairing, readers won’t be able to give their whole attention to either story because of the disparity in quality. Hopefully, Maki will be confirmed to be alive in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 194.
