The focus of the prior chapters has been Naoya Zenin. Naoya was attacked by Maki Zenin and Noritoshi Kamo. But then Noaya comes back with a powerful counterattack. With their combined might, Maki and Noritosh continue to combat her, but Noaya is getting faster and stronger, posing a greater threat. Having to deal with Noaya is quite challenging.
Meanwhile, Noritoshi immediately devises a plan to keep himself safe from Naoya. He is able to withstand the assaults because he employs the Flowing Red Scale. If Noritoshi continues to disobey them, he will suffer the loss of one arm and his skull, he says. Using her instrument, Maki tries to harm Naoya. Though Naoya turns his Projection Magic on them. Naoya employs a sinister technique that temporarily freezes anything she touches.
When Naoya sees Maki and Noritoshi, he gives chase. Maki finds out that Naoya utilised her method to trap the air, and then blew it up with her fists.
