Review of Episode 261
Episode 261 of Boruto focuses on Kawaki and Himawari’s early days in the Ninja Academy. While Himawari was there to hone her Kunoichi skills, Kawaki was enrolled to shield Princess Kae, a transfer student who had become the target of a group of assassins. Kawaki was charged with befriending the princess, and despite his best efforts, he kept alienating her with his uncomfortable demeanour.
A young man called Eiki Fuma develops feelings for the princess, Kae, but becomes envious of the attention her guardian, Kawaki, pays to her. Kawaki’s odd behaviour made Himawari suspicious of his brother, but she was unable to get any information out of him. However, she suggested that Kawaki give Kae a romance novel in an effort to win her over. Kawaki listened to his younger sister’s recommendation and tracked down Kae after school to hand him the book.
Eiki ambushed Kawaki with a monster when he was chatting to Kae about her royal duties. As a result of Kawaki’s swift action, Kae decided to be his buddy. Kawaki gave Naruto a mission report at the end of the episode, with Himawari watching from the doorway.
What will happen in Boruto Episode 262? Expectations
As mentioned previously, the tea party that Kae’s classmates are throwing in her honour will take up most of this episode. Kawaki appears to be unhappy about this plan because it necessitates him wearing a suit and tie to the celebration. Keep in mind, too, that Himawari now knows her brother’s goal, which may be a boon in the form of her protection for Kae or a bane in the form of her potential exposure to Kawaki.
It remains to be seen how this notion is used in the plot, but it promises to be intriguing nonetheless. Fans were thrilled with the start of this new storyline in last week’s hilarious show. It was funny to see Kawaki attempt to fit in with youngsters half his age while simultaneously being the most uncomfortable person there. Boruto Episode 262 has a lot of potentials to provide viewers more laughs and reveal more about the organisation seeking to kill Kae.
