[Updated] Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 193 Spoilers, Leaks, Release Date, Summary, Plot Read Online

Most worldwide readers got their hands on Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 193 on Sunday afternoon, and with it came the next thrilling chapter in Maki’s epic battle against Naoya. Also in this issue, we get our first extended look at Naoya’s new form, which, from what we can tell so far, is considerably more potent than his Cursed Womb incarnation. Noritoshi Kamo’s development since he was last seen in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 183 is also on display, as he is now able to keep up with Maki and Naoya. The chapter appears to be building up the fight as a two-on-one with Maki and Noritoshi taking on Cursed Spirit Naoya.

Chapter 193 of the Jujutsu omnibus: Lightning strikes.
Next, in Chapter 193 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Maki explains that Naoya’s brief absence was for the express goal of gaining speed. However, the two Sorcerers predict that Naoya would charge once she reaches full speed, which Noritoshi finds hard to believe. Maki answers by saying that Naoya’s speed as a Cursed Womb was greater than the speed of sound, as seen by his ability to manipulate his body parts to achieve this feat.

The two Sorcerers then remark they need a response, and Maki advises they be ready to strike and wait for him since they can see him approaching. It is seen that when Naoya’s pace increases, Maki takes a defensive stance, yelling at Noritoshi to retreat. Seemingly intending to harm or slow down Naoya as he charges, he has used his Cursed Technique to scatter several star-shaped bits around her. The Cursed Spirit immediately pounces on her, devastating Sakurajima with his lightning-fast attack.

The narrator of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 193 continues, explaining that Naoya’s new body sucked air in through different inlets, compressed and expelled it using thrusting pressure and Cursed Energy, and so greatly increased his speed. He is then shown racing towards Maki at incredible speeds, breaking up the earth many feet beneath the surface as he approaches his adversary. After a black panel reveals Maki’s shock at this pace, the page ends. On the following page of Jujutsu Kaisen, chapter 193, we see a bleeding and presumably comatose Maki lying beneath Naoya, and the narrator reveals that Naoya’s speed has hit Mach 3.

He can’t believe he ever lost to her, the Cursed Spirit says as he towers over her. Chapter 193 of Jujutsu Kaisen doesn’t say anything about a hiatus, but readers will have to wait until the following week for the next issue because the publisher is taking the week off. Therefore, the next issue of Jujutsu Kaisen, along with every other Weekly Shone Jump series, will be released the following week. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 193 is an outstanding and exciting issue that successfully displays the potency of Naoya Zenin’s new form. Seeing Maki get defeated by a monster she created is even more interesting because of how formidable she appeared to be during the Zenin clan murder.

Not a major player in the conflict, Noritoshi Kamo’s involvement is still encouraging since it demonstrates that other young Sorcerers are standing up to Kenjaku. Even more crucially, he very certainly plays a greater role in this particular battle, either by surpassing his own limitations and becoming more powerful than before or by making a sacrifice to help Maki advance. The Sakurajima Colony arc of Jujutsu Kaisen, no matter how Gege Akutami, the series creator, author, and artist, decides to move on after Chapter 193, looks promising.

Spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 193
Cursed Spirit Naoya’s new, advanced form is shown in full in the opening moments of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 193. The upper half of its body appears to be constructed of a hard shell, while at the back, there is what looks like a jet turbine. Below the Spirit’s torso’s midline, a featureless head droops, its structure kept together by an infinite number of tentacles. In addition to serving as arms and legs, the Cursed Spirit has additional clusters of these appendages protruding from four other orifices on its body. It was shown in the last issue that they can be clenched into fists, so that should satisfy fans’ curiosity. Shortly later, in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 193, Naoya looks at Noritoshi’s fist and calls him remarkable, recognising that he is, in fact, the clan leader. Noritoshi, however, appears to have avoided death in the face of Naoya’s last onslaught by shielding himself from the blow with blood using his Cursed Technique.

This prevented the loss of both his head and one arm. Aware that even a minor slip may spell disaster, he resolves to improve his performance before turning on the Flowing Red Scale. Naoya is shown to be rapidly closing in as Maki follows closely after from a different direction, both men having activated their Cursed Techniques. She arrives in time to ostensibly parry the Cursed Spirit’s blade, allowing Noritoshi to capture him with his Crimson Binding technique. She shouts to her comrade that their adversary is what has become of Naoya Zenin as he turns his body to evade Maki’s blow. The Cursed Spirit’s reply—that he can introduce himself—is hilarious. Noritoshi admires how much of his own ego he has maintained, drawing an internal parallel to Rika Orimoto.

While Noritoshi secretly views Naobito to be the quickest with Projection Sorcery, Maki says that Naoya is still able to employ his Cursed Technique. Then, Naoya employs the Cursed Technique to convert chunks of air into solid blocks in front of Maki, which may be detonated with the touch of a finger. Finally, he launches himself towards the bricks in question, causing them to burst with such power that Maki is thrown backwards. As she and Noritoshi gather their wits, she narrates what transpired before Naoya leaves in what Noritoshi interprets as a retreat.
